35. God is the Light

Of the heavens and the earth.
The parable of His Light
Is as if there were a Niche
And within it a Lamp:
The Lamp enclosed in Glass:

The glass as it were

A brilliant star:
Lit from a blessed Tree,
An Olive, neither of the East
Nor of the West,
Whose. Oil is well-nigh
Luminous,
Though fire scarce touched it:
Light upon Light!
God doth guide
Whom He will
To His Light :
God doth set forth Parables
For men : and God
Doth know all things.

There is no god but Allah; Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We have been taught that Christ or the Son of Man was crucified on the cross. The
Church has made us believe that when the Book talks about the crucifixion of Jesus,
it is talking about the death of a physical body on a cross.

The Nation of Islam (Body-Christ) has been Divinely blessed with the Divine-Truth
of God which gives us the true scriptural interpretation of the Bible and Holy
Quran.

That Jesus was crucified on a cross means that the Messenger of Divine Mind was
killed on a cross. It means that the Divine development (Divine growth) was stopped
on the cross, The message of the cross is Trinitarianism or a three -in -one god
concept.
WHO WAS CHRIST?

Christ was .the anointed or the Son of Man. The word man in this phrase means son
or a product of Divine Mind, so the Christ is one who is the product of Divine
Knowledge.

MIND OF UNIVERSAL TRUTH

The mind that produced racism, selfishness, narrowness, greed and slavery is the
grafted mind. In the individual who has a grafted mind, the vision has not found
Divine Truth or reality. But the Book is not talking about that kind of mind. The
Book is talking about Divine Mind which is that mind that has found universal
truth. In finding universal truth, the mind has become adult or grown as the
Creator (God) intended it to become. That mind (Divine Mind) really is the mind of
God and it will give birth to a son.

RESTORATION THROUGH DIVINE REVELATION

When the Divine Mind is lost, it is restored by revelation from God. The scripture
or revelation comes with the essence (elements) of Divine Mind. God gives it to a
sincere person who becomes a product, or fruit, as Jesus called him. This means
that the person has become a convert or a product of the Divine body of truth that
represents the Divine Mind.

The Holy Quran is the Divine Mind in its completion. Before the Holy Quran was
revealed to Prophet Muhammad (may peace be upon Him), the holy scripture before it
was the Divine Mind until that scripture became corrupted. So when the earlier
scripture (before the Holy Quran) was in its pure form, it was the word of God. The
Holy Quran (Divine Mind) gives birth to people who are adherents or converts.

SON OF MAN

Son of Man means one who has been wiped clean and he has been cleaned with the oil
of Divine Wisdom. He is the Son of Divine Truth and Divine Truth is the
manifestation or expression of Divine Mind.

In having been cleaned by Divine Truth, the particular individual who is the Son of
Man has been made fit to be a leader for others. If the person is clean and wise,
then he also is the savior because he can save others from the things that they are
suffering. That's why the Book says that Christ is the savior, and Jesus was a
savior for the people of his time.

We want you to understand that the Bible ideas and language are correct because
they are from a Divine source. It's the way that the language has been put together
that is wrong.

BIRTH OF THE SON OF MAN

When Jesus was questioned, he never said that he was God. In fact, Jesus didn't
want to say that he was Christ.

Jesus called himself the Son of Man, meaning that the Divine Mind contained in the
Scripture gave birth to him. The Divine Mind gives birth to the prophet and he is
called the Son of Man, or the fruit of Divine Mind.
The word "Messiah" or Christ means to wipe clean or to anoint. The ancient people
used oil to clean, just as today, oil is recommended to clean babies' skin,
although some doctors say that it's not good to over - saturate babies' skin with
oil.

CLEANSING THE PERSON WITHIN

The man who is called Christ should be one who has been cleaned and purified with
wisdom. Man is a mental body and to clean him, you can't just use soap and water
because you only would be cleaning the physical flesh.

In cleaning a human being, you have to clean the person within the physical body
with knowledge because knowledge is the nature of his inner being. The human being
didn't come to birth until knowledge reached that potent seed or that life germ of
the person's mind, causing him to grow.

The oil, then, represents knowledge that will enter a person and cleanse his inner
being.

The Holy Quran message on oil is Divine superiority. Oil looks as though light is
in it even before you light it up. When you burn oil, it bursts into flames and
gives off pure light.

The one who has been cleaned with Divine Knowledge has no impurities or corruption
in him and he is the Son of Man. The oil (Divine Wisdom) that cleaned him was not
his own because it was from the Originator (God). This wisdom from Allah purifies
and gives birth to the Son of Man.

Allah puts a sign that stands as a witness for His truth far in advance in the
newborn baby. Science reveals that the baby is born sterile and that it has a
natural immunity to disease for about six months. The baby is born more pure than
anything else in life as far as physical filth is concerned.

MESSAGE CONTAINS MIND

Of God, and the Christians
Call Christ the Son of God.
That is a saying from their mouths:
(In this) they but imitate
What the Unbelievers of old
Used to say. God's curse
Be on them: how they are deluded
Away from the Truth!

31. They take their priests

And their anchorites to be
Their lords in derogation of God,
And (they take as their Lord)
Christ the son of Mary;
Yet they were commanded
To worship but One God:
There is no god but He.
Praise and glory to Him:
(Far is He) from having
The parents they associate
(With Him).

The Son of Man is born clean and pure and he's not born just to be another child
because he is born to rule. In Judaism, the child's head is anointed and he is
pronounced king because he is accepted as the authority. His people believe that as
such he has become grown in knowledge and that he is the Son of Man.

However, the Jews have misinterpreted this to mean that the individual is the Son
of God. That's how Christians got mixed up with the idea that Jesus is the Son of
God.

Christians lost the Supreme Wisdom that the idea expressed from the mind contains
the mind although it may not contain the whole mind. If you want to see a person's
mind, look at his message because the mind of the speaker exists in his message.

The mind of God exists in His revelation and God's revelation is the Divine Mind.
So, the prophet is not a son of God but he is a son of Divine Revelation because
Divine Revelation produces him.

MAN CREATED ON A HIGHER LEVEL

The first revelation of the Holy Quran is, "Read in the name of your Lord who
created the man from a small clot." The Scripture goes on to say, ''Read in the
name of your Lord who is full of unlimited bounty." Lord here means that God has
formed you and then developed you until you got strong enough for Him to leave you,
and you were able to manage materially by yourself.

God created man from a semen drop and from the germs in the womb which together
formed a clot. The clot shows that a form is being born. Yet, man should not think
that that is the limit of God's ability to create.

God creates the human being on a higher level. He enables him to grow economically,
intellectually, morally, spiritually and socially.

DIVINE MIND IN MAN'S REACH

In the last revelation of the Holy Quran it says, "Say to Israel," but the man
couldn't say anything to Israel before he had read something from the Divine. The
last revelation of the Holy Quran wants to connect the man with something that he
has been missing, that is, you can't say until you read.

The Divine body of truth (Holy Quran) is available to anyone who can read and if an
individual can't read, the Holy Quran still is within his reach. Anyone who can
recite what has been written can bring it to him. The Divine Mind that is in the
reach of all of us is the Holy Quran.

DIVINE TRUTH PRODUCED JESUS

The Divine Mind or the Divine Truth that produced Jesus was the pure scripture that
God revealed to him in the body of corrupt scripture that the Jews and other people
had during Jesus' time. He studied the Divine Truth that was revealed to him in the
knowledge that was available in the world in his days.
Jesus didn't come into the world complete. Like everybody else, Jesus came into the
world, studied and grew. The Book is telling us in plain and simple language that
Jesus was no freak of nature. He loved God and the Divine Truth, and he studied
that truth, became sanctified and grew in knowledge. That's how Jesus became the
Son of Divine Mind or the Son of Man since the Divine Mind is an expression of the
realities that is God himself.

EXPRESSION OF DIVINE REALITY

We are using the term "expression" rather than the word "manifestation'1 because
manifestation has been corrupted in theology to mean incarnation.
When we say that God manifested, we do not mean that He incarnated. Some people may
think that we mean that God is in the flesh body and that He walks around in that
flesh body. Also, they may think that we are saying that His presence and His world
are limited to the particular flesh body.

When we say that God manifested, we mean that that body of knowledge (Divine Truth)
that enables us to see God is an expression of His very presence, reality, and
being.

GOD'S MIND RULES SON OF MAN

If Divine Truth is received into any person and that individual conforms his mind
in perfect accord with that Divine Truth, then it is Divine Truth that is living
within the person. The individual lives on Divine Truth and he is dominated and
ruled by Divine Truth.

When a person has no conflict between his own mind and that body of Divine Truth,
he can be called a person who is an expression or manifestation of the presence of
Divine Truth in himself. We don't mean that the person is God, the Creator or the
very Being that started the universe into existence. We mean that the Creator's
mind as it is contained in the Divine body of knowledge (Divine Revelation) is in
that person.

God's mind dominates the individual who receives Divine Truth and is in accord with
that truth. In dominating the man, God's mind rules out everything else that is in
the individual. When Truth rules in a person, he is walking truth or walking Divine
Revelation, which means that he truly is the Son of Divine Revelation or the Son of
Man.
