Introduction
● A bug is common term used to describe an
error,flaw(flaunt),mistake,failure or fault in computer
program or system that produces an incorrect or
unexpected result or causes it to behave in unintended
way.
● A major component of bug tracking system is a database
that records facts and known bugs.
Software Requirements Specification(SRS)
● The SRS fully describes what the software will do and how it will be expected
to perform.
● A software requirements specification is a document that captures complete
description about how the system is expected to perform.
Bug tracking system Process
● This defect tracking system helps to track bug.
● There are 3 modules in this tracking system.

1.Admin

2.Staff

3.Customer
1.Admin:
● Staff Entry: The staff details are username,password,category and Email Id
● Project Entry: The project details are name and description.

2.Staff:
● Login: The staff may login to the site using username and password.
● Bug Flow: The user may view bug case flow details with which he involved.

3.customer:
● Login: The customer registers into the applications and login to the site using
username and password.
● Bug: Whenever a bug is raised from his software,he sends the bug details to the
administrator with print screen of the bug generated.
● Flow: He may see the bug case flow details and bug status along with remedy
details at any time using the ticket number generated during new bug entry
Block Diagram
Administrator
● He can record the team,staff and project entry.
● If he doesn’t find the process of project on time then it can assign that project
to another team.
Developer
● When he will login,then he/she will be able to see all bugs details that are
assigned to him.
● Details of the project of that bug belong.
● He will be able to see members of its team.
Tester
● When he login,then he will be able to see the details of the project that are
assigned to him.
● He can get an interface for defect log.
● He can see or change the status of the bug.
Analyst
● He can generate various reports.
● He can allot the bug to the developer of his team.
● He can see the members of his team.
Advantages
● Bugs can be solved easily.
● Can be shared to the upper department on just sending
bug ticket
Time And Cost Budget

Rs 3000/-
Conclusion
● Bug tracking system helps to detect and manage the bugs in
software products effectively.
● This project BTS can be used to track the bugs in the project
modules and assist i troubleshooting errors for testing and for
development process.
