AUGUSTINA ROSE
I used to work at a Crackerbarrel
next to the old folk’s home.
I’ve seen about every kind of bad
customer.
HUGO
I’ve spent years studying the
blade. I hope your whip can keep
up.
AUGUSTINA ROSE
You need an eighty-four inch sword
to control some unruly customers?

3.1 Sean grabs both their
shoulders, breaking up their
flauting contest.
3.2 Some time has passed, and the
team are in the store proper.
Rose and Sean has hit it off,
but Hugo thumbs through a
clipboard. He has a strange
look on his face, as he passes
an aisle.
3.3 Sean steps into the Candy
aisle, which has become a
picture perfect paradise.
Everything is neat and
orderly, though it looks like
there’s some powdered snow on
all the shelves.
3.4 Harsh close up of Hugo’s face.
His eyes quiver with rage, his
mustache is showing a few grey
hairs.
3.5 Sean readies his dagger, as
he creeps into the aisle. Rose
follows him, unfurling the
whip.
Dialog
SEAN
T-there’s a time for showboating
and a t-time for work. I’m pretty
sure we’re on the clock now.
HUGO
You are right. To work, we must
go...
HUGO
That’s...weird. Sean, did you
stock the Candy aisle?
SEAN
Hell no, that place is a mess
constantly!
HUGO
This aisle is perfect. Nothing
breaks code. That can only mean
one of two things...
HUGO
Either hell froze over, or we have
a leak. And since I haven’t been
felt the need for a sweater...

4.1 SEAN
Uh, Rose...So you ever seen
something you couldn’t ever

4.2 Rose looks at the shelf, AUGUSTINA ROSE

spotting a creature. It look Like a little candy thing?
like a pink marshmallow bunny,
but is about the size of a
toddler. Its teeth are made
of gumdrops, and has huge,
doe like eyes. Upon a closer
look, its ’pupil’ is the eye,
and white marshmallow fluff
forms the sclera of its ’eye’.
It waves at her, tilting it’s
head in a cute gesture.

4.3 Hugo walks over, watching AUGUSTINA ROSE

6.5 Hugo lifts the head, as its HUGO

eyes scan across the room.
Sean and Augustina back up,
disgusted. Some hornets are
attracted to the sweet, sugary
chocolate gore.

sighs heavily, crossing her
arms.
7.5 They walk into the main store
front, where there are now
giant mountains of powdered
sugar. In the very middle of
these mountains, is about
ten of them, feeding of a
customer.
Dialog
HUGO
These are called
Fructosferatu...Vile, vile
creatures. They drink the blood
of humans, to build themselves a
body.
HUGO
They containment all sweets,
laying their eggs inside.
SEAN
Dammit! One them picked my pocket!
AUGUSTINA ROSE

SEAN

AUGUSTINA ROSE

watch his blood sugar. We gotta
find that one, fast.

in disgust. Augustina’s
tenses her whip. Sean,
however, is leaning against
a shelf. Behind him, is
a Fructosferatu.
