Letter of Recommendation (limit one)
Please include one letter from one of your first-semester instructors (either a faculty member or TA). This letter should be
written on UGA letterhead and reflect your academic abilities and provide insight into ways you can contribute to the
Honors Program. Please submit the letter of recommendation in a sealed envelope along with your application.

All required materials should arrive under one cover to the University of Georgia Honors Program. Materials must be
received no later than 5:00 PM est. on the day of the deadline for consideration. You will receive email confirmation once
your completed application is received (please allow 7-10 business days to process applications). Any applications received
after the deadline will not be considered. Applications received in accordance with the deadline will be reviewed after all
grades have been posted. Meeting eligibility standards does not guarantee acceptance into the University of Georgia
Honors Program.

Application decision notifications will be sent to all applicants via their UGA email accounts.

All accepted first-semester entry students are required to complete and submit an enrollment form to the Honors Program.
The enrollment form deadline will be included in the student’s acceptance notification. Failure to meet the deadline may
result in forfeiture of your Honors Program status. You will receive a confirmation receipt and be notified via your UGA
email once your completed form has been submitted and received by the Honors Program.

In addition, all accepted first-semester entry students are required to enroll in and complete
HONS 1000H: Introduction to Honors seminar.

Failure to enroll in and successfully complete the seminar during your first semester in the program will result
in immediate dismissal from the Honors Program.
