LABORATORY – 11
ABSTRACT
In this laboratory we will create a flow graph for each types of filters and see how it look like
in GNU Radio companion. In order to build it we need to have an GNU RADIO in our PC or
laptops.
AIM
The aim of this laboratory is to know how to create a flow graph for filters in GNU Radio and
see how it look like in virtual machine rather than seeing it in the books,
ACTIVITY INSTRUCTIONS
Startup:
1. Start. Open the GNU RADIO software
2. Create first a flow graph to see how noise is present in each frequencies.
3. Run the program and look at this graph.
4. After that, let’s proceed in creating the flow graph for Low pass filter. Follow this
flow graph.
6. By clicking the average under the Trace options, you can clearly see low pass filter.
HIGH PASS FILTER FLOW GRAPH
1. After the low pass filter, the next one is the high pass filter. Follow this flow
graph.
2. Lastly, run the program and see what high pass filter look like virtually.
CONCLUSION:
I therefore conclude that using Hack Rf interfacing in GNU Radio, we can easily
identify the graph for each type of filter also we can clearly differentiate their graphs. By
programming it to this software we can build and see the graph and the noises that is present
in each signals that we all imagine before. This software and Hack RF One are totally
incredible.
