In Teaching Science IV
I-Objectives:

At the end of the lesson, pupils are able to:

A. Identify the animals adapted to a particular habitat;


B. Give examples of animals that are adapted to a particular habitat; and
C. Appreciate the importance of body structures of animals to its particular habitat.

Now, by using the guide question you are


going to explain your work based on the
question given. The group who finish first
will be the first presenter.

Guide Questions:

1. What are the habitats of animals? Classmates, the habitats are pond, grassland

Class, there are three types of habitat of


animals these are: Grassland, Pond, Sea.
But before that, what do you mean by
habitat?

Habitat- it is the place where an animals


and plants lives and grows. It where
animals find the food, water, and shelter it
needs to live.

Grass land - where the cows, goats,


horses and other animals live.
Pond - where ducks, geese, swans and
frogs.
Sea - where fish, turtle, crabs, octopus,
jellyfish lives.

 The body structures of animal for


adaption play an important role in
choosing animals to rise in a
particular habitat.

What do you mean by habitat? Teacher, it is where different animals, plants


lives and grows.

What are the three types of habitat? Teacher, the three types of animals habitat
are grassland, pond and sea.
Why it is the body structure of animals is
important to adapt in particular habitat? Teacher, the body structure of different
animals is very important because it help to
live and adapt in a particular habitat for them
Based on the activity we have earlier, what to survive.

What animal habitat is present in your


community? Teacher, here in our community we have
grassland and pond.
Is it proper to move these animals from their
natural habitat? Why not?
No, it is because that is their natural habitat
and it is where they can find their food.

What should we do to preserve those


endanger species?
Teacher, we should avoid catching those
animals that are nearly gone.

Now, If you were to raise animals, what would


they be and why?
Teacher, if I’m going to raise an animal I would
choose to have a cow and chicken because
these animals can give us milk and egg for us
to have food.

C. Elaboration

Class, I would like to introduce to you a friend of mine. I know some of you already
know him. He is Nobita. He got a problem. He didn’t know the certain animals actually
live. So now, we will help him.
His friend Doremon will give us the animals that will help Nobita know where to put
them in their habitat, with your help; you are going to get the animals in the pocket of
Doremon to sort them. Understood?
