 The taskmgr.exe comes bundled with the Windows NT/XP/2000/2003 editions and keeps
track of the ongoing applications and processes on a real time basis based on hard disk
access. It passes information to the disk defragmenter to enable it to rearrange
information on the hard disk as needed. It is responsible to give the user interface to kill
any active process. It also reviews the CPU performance and memory usage in addition
to the possibility to assess activities based on 15 parameters. The administrator could
look at the network activity of every host on the particular network using this process.
 In computing ntoskrnl.exe, also known as kernel image, provides the kernel and
executive layers of the Microsoft Windows NT kernel space, and is responsible for
various system services such as hardware abstraction, process and memory
management, thus making it a fundamental part of the system. It contains the cache
manager, the executive, the kernel, the security reference monitor, the memory manager,
and the scheduler.
 Desktop Window Manager (dwm.exe) is a compositing window manager that renders all
those pretty effects in Windows: transparent windows, live taskbar thumbnails, Flip3D,
and even high resolution monitor support.Instead of applications drawing their displays
directly to your screen, applications write the picture of their window to a specific place
in memory.
 BrokerInfrastucture: Windows infrastructure service that controls which background tasks
can run on the system.
 DPS: The Diagnostic Policy Service enables problem detection, troubleshooting and
resolution for Windows components. If this service is stopped, diagnostics will no longer
function.
 WinDefend: Helps protect users from malware and other potentially unwanted software.
 Google Chrome is a cross-platform web browser developed by Google. It was first
released in 2008 for Microsoft Windows, and was later ported to Linux, macOS, iOS, and
Android.
 Microsoft Word is a word processor developed by Microsoft. It was first released on
October 25, 1983 under the name Multi-Tool Word for Xenix systems. Subsequent
versions were later written for several other platforms including IBM PCs running DOS,
Apple Macintosh running the Classic Mac OS, AT&T Unix PC, Atari ST, OS/2, Microsoft
Windows, SCO Unix, and macOS.
 Microsoft OneNote is a computer program and mobile program for free-form
information gathering and multi-user collaboration. It gathers users' notes, drawings,
screen clippings and audio commentaries. Notes can be shared with other OneNote
users over the Internet or a network. Previously, OneNote was available as a part of the
Microsoft Office suite.
