CONTRACT OF AGREEMENT

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

That this Contract Agreement made and executed by and between:

THE BUREAU OF FIRE PROTECTION (BFP), a bureau under the Department of the Interior
and Local Government (DILG) with office address at Ermin Garcia St., Brgy. Pinagkaisahan,
Cubao, Quezon City, represented by CSUPT WILBERTO RICO NEIL A KWAN TIU (DSC) BFP,
Regional Director, NCR hereinafter referred to as the FIRST PARTY.

hereinafter referred to as the SECOND PARTY.

WITHNESSETH

WHEREAS, the Philippines is the host of the 30th South East Asian (SEA) Games.

WHEREAS, the National Capital Region (NCR) is the venue, among other regions, of
the various SEA Games events.

WHEREAS, the BFP as one of the law enforcement and responding agencies of the
Philippines was tasked to serve as enforcers of peace and order during the Sea Games.

WHEREAS, the BFP-NCR, was specifically tasked to deploy BFP officers and personnel
among the various venues within the NCR during the Sea Games.

WHEREAS, in line with the deployment, the BFP-NCR is obliged to lease tents to be used
by the deployed BFP officers and personnel.

NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the foregoing premises and mutual
covenant, the parties have agreed as follows:

ARTICLE I-SCOPE OF CONTRACT

1. The SECOND PARTY binds itself to deliver, assemble, and lease to the FIRST PARTY
twenty-eight (28) units of 8 meter by 16 meter (8mx16m) ____________ tents;

2. Each tent shall have a unit price of THREE THOUSAND PESOS (Php 3,000.00) per day;

3. Each tent shall be delivered by the SECOND PARTY to the various BFP-NCR
deployment posts, specifically described in the ________________________, herein
attached as ANNEX A; and

4. The SECOND PARTY shall lease the tents to the FIRST PARTY for twenty-nine (29) days
from _____ November to _____ December 2019.

ARTICLE II-CONTRACT PRICE

1. As consideration for the faithful performance and satisfactory accomplishment of all

obligations of the SECOND PARTY under this contract the FIRST PARTY shall pay to the
SECOND PARTY the total contract price of

 2. All fees, taxes and other similar charges, imposed by the Philippine Government on
the Procurement of the PROJECT shall be on the account of the SECOND PARTY
__________________________________.

ARTICLE III-TERMS AND PAYMENTS

1. The full amount of the total contract price shall be paid by the FIRST PARTY payable
in favor of SECOND PARTY _________________________________, only after the
termination of the deployment.

ARTICLE III-FORCE MAJEURE

1. The SECOND PARTY shall not be in default under this contract for any delay in the
PROJECT caused by force majeure or fortuitous event.
