X-RAYTUBESWARRANTY

IAEwarrantsthatitsproductsshallbefreefromdefectsinmaterialandworkmanshipandwillmeetthetechnicalperformanceandratings
deÞnedinthetechnicaldatasheetspublishedatthedateofshipment.IAEwarrantsitsproductsonaproratedbasisasstatedbelow.The
IAEobligationunderthiswarrantyislimitedinaccordancewiththeprovisionsstatedherein.Thesoleandexclusiveremedyunderthis
warrantyshallberepair,oratIAEÕsoptions,replacementofthedefectiveproductataprorateportionoftheoriginalpurchaseprice.
DefectiveproductsarethosefounduponexaminationbyIAEtobeinoperativewithintheapplicableperformanceandratingswithinthe
timeperiodsofexposuresduetotraceabledefectsinmaterialsandworkmanship.

WARRANTYPERIOD
StandardwarrantyperiodsforDiagnosticX-RayUnitsarelistedbelow.Ifnoperiodoftimeissostatedoragreed,thenIAEÕswarrantyis
limitedtothirty(30)days.DiȔerentstandardoragreedwarrantyperiodsmayapply.

X-rayTubes(inserts)
Warrantyperiodistwelve(12)monthsproratafromdateofinstallationbutinnoeventlaterthaneighteen(18)monthsfromdateof
shipmentfromIAEÕsfactory.

X-rayCompleteUnits(insert+housing)
Warrantyperiodistwenty-four(24)monthsproratafromdateofinstallationbutinnoeventlaterthatthirty(30)monthsfromdateof
shipmentfromIAEÕsfactory.

CTTubes
Warrantyperiodisanamountofprorataslices,withintwelve(12)monthsfromdateofinstallationbutinnoeventlaterthaneighteen(18)
monthsfromdateofshipmentfromIAEÕsfactory.

PrematureWarrantyFailure
Diagnostictubeshaveanon-proratedwarrantythatisdeÞnedasaprematureorearlyfailure.IAEwill,atitsoption,repairorreplacethe
defectiveproductatnocosttothepurchaser.Theprematurefailureis3monthsfollowinginstallationdate.
CTtubeshaveanon-proratedwarrantyÞxedat4000slices.

WARRANTYTERMS
¥WarrantyconsiderationwillonlybegivenforproductsreturnedtoIAEproperlypackagedandaccompaniedwithaTubeFailureReport
andaReturnAuthorizationNumber.
¥RepairsandadjustmentsofX-RayTubesmustbemade(ordirectedinwriting)byauthorizedIAEpersonnelonly.Unauthorizedrepairsor
adjustmentswillvoidthiswarranty.
¥AllshippingcostsforawarrantyreturnproducttoIAEaretheresponsibilityofthepurchaserandmustbeprepaid.Returnshippingcost
willbepaidbyIAE.
¥Allrepairsincludingpartsandlabormadeunderthetermsofthiswarrantywillbeatnocharge.
¥Warrantywillonlybeextendedtotheoriginalpurchaser.Warrantytransferwillnotbehonoredwithoutpriorwrittenconsent.
¥Warrantyclaimswillbeacceptedupto30daysafterwarrantyexpirationifthefailureoccurredwithinthewarrantyperiod.Thisgrace
periodwillallowtimefortheproducttobereturnedshouldthefailureoccurduringthelastmonthofthewarranty.

CREDITALLOWANCE
Iffailureoccursduringaproratawarrantyperiod,IAEwillatitssoleoptioneither:
1-refundtheproratapartofthepurchaseprice
2-repairtheX-RayTube,atnocosttotheCustomer,uponreturnoffailedX-RayTubetoIAE
3-applyaproratacreditonareplacementorderforanewX-RayTube.Proratedcreditallowancewillbecomputedaccordingtothe
following:

 Numberofmonths/sliceswarranted(minus)Numberofmonths/slicesused=%(multiplied)byPurchasePrice
Numberofmonths/sliceswarranted

 Therefore:Priceofnewtube(minus)ProratedCredit=PriceofReplacementTube

WARRANTYLIMITATIONS

IfaproductfailswithinthepublishedtechnicalperformanceandratingsspeciÞcations,andisusedunderÒnormalintendedusageÓ,willbe
consideredforwarrantyadjustment.UseoftheproductunderÒotherapplicationÓwillbewithoutwarranty.Additionally,thewarranty
doesnotapplytoanyloss,damage,failureand/ormalfunctionrelatinginanywaytoshipping,storage,accident,abuse,misuse,alteration
orequipmentmalfunction.TheentireobligationofIAEunderthiswarrantyistorepairorreplacethedefectiveproduct.Innowayshall
IAEberesponsibleforconsequentialdamages.
