The Lord’s Prayer - Matthew 6:9-13

Our Father,

Which art in heaven.

Hallowed be Thy Name.

Thy Kingdom come.

Thy will be done

In Earth, As it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses,

As we forgive them that trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation.

But deliver us from evil.

For Thine is the kingdom the power and the glory.

Forever and ever.

Amen.
Lord’s Prayer Interpreted:11/26/2019 12:17am

Our Father,

Our Father which is Abraham. The Jews in John 8: 39 proclaimed, “Abraham is our father.”

Which art in heaven.

Who is in God - Heaven. God is not limited to heaven, But heaven resides in God. “The heaven
is my throne, and the earth is my footstool” Isaiah 66:1. “ behold, the heaven and heaven of
heavens cannot contain thee” 1 Kings 8:27.

Hallowed be Thy Name.

God who is holy, majestic, and perfect. He is to be worshipped. “From the rising of the sun unto
the going down of the same the Lord's name is to be praised.” Psalm 113:3

Thy Kingdom come.

Your King be sent. “ For it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom” Luke 12:32.

Thy will be done

Your purpose be fulfilled. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher
than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts” Isaiah 55:9.

In Earth. As it is in Heaven.

In Man as it is in Jesus (God).

Give us this day our daily bread.

Give us your Word daily, not the bread that Moses gave. The manna from heaven rotted the next
day. The true and living bread is the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus said “I am the bread that came
down from heaven” (John 6:51).

And forgive us our trespasses,

Provide forgiveness of our original Sin against you!

As we forgive them that trespass against us.

Let us be like you and be quick to forgive

And lead us not into temptation.

Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil,
neither tempteth he any man (James 1:13).

But deliver us from evil.

Deliver us from the temptation of the evil one (devil). Provide us Power (Holy Spirit) over the
deceiver (Soul). “God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able;
but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it” (1 Cor
10:13).

For Thine is the kingdom the power and the glory.

For Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit is Christ who is the Kingdom.

Forever and ever.

He abideth forever

Amen.

So Be It.

Conclusion

The disciples asked Jesus, teach us to pray. Our Father, who art in heaven. Israel had no
concept of God being their Father. Our father Abraham who is in El Shaddai (Lord God
Almighty). Meaning, our relationship to Abraham who is in you, is our right to the blessings.
Remember Abraham, is what they are saying. Our Father who is in heaven, send us your Christ.
So they say heaven meaning God. H allowed be thy Name. The Jews would not say God’s name
out of reverence. The different names of God which holds eternity and the blessings poured out
for those of Abraham’s lineage. All the divine provision are in His Name. God is Holy and
worthy of all worship and reverence. Thy Kingdom come. T he Kingdom is the fullness of God -
Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, meaning Christ. Send us your Christ. Thy will be done. Let
your will, your purpose and your Kingdom come into me. In earth as it is in heaven. Let it be
done in me as it is in you. Give us this day our daily bread. Give us the living bread, not like
what Moses gave Israel which quickly turned bad. But the living bread, the everlasting bread, the
bread that will sustain us. And forgive us our trespasses. Forgive us our original sin which is
trespassing. As we forgive them that trespass against us. Give us the ability to forgive those who
trespass against us, who stole from us without our permission. And lead us not into temptation.
Lead us not into temptation as we were tempted in the beginning as with the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil, when we were drawn away from you. But deliver us from evil. But
deliver us from evil- the serpent, satan or the devil who deceived us. For Thine is the kingdom
and the power and the glory. For thine is the Christ- the fullness of the Godhead. The power is
the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on us. Bring us to your presence and your glory. Forever. Not
speaking about the breath of life, but the eternal life. Amen - So be it.

Our father Abraham, who is in El Shaddai (Lord God Almighty). Holy is God who has many
names. The provisions that exist in His name are numerous. Through Abraham we access the
rights to all these things. God clearly declared His relation with Abraham. Abraham was called
the friend of God. In this condensed form of The Lord’ prayer, Jesus just unveiled the whole
history of mankind, their separation, but how they reunite with God. The order with which He
wants us to come into the fullness of God. The blessings and promises to mankind came from
father Abraham. Our father Abraham is in heaven. Bless us accordingly as you have promised
our father. Jesus was speaking to the Jews. They took pride in the fact that Abraham was their
father. Jesus also came from the lineage of Abraham. The prayer gives significance of Abraham
and the relevance of him. The recognition of God where God honors Abraham and shows that
because of his obedience, God was able to bring everything to a conclusion like He did in the
Lord’s prayer. Heaven resides in God. For the Jews, heaven was a reference to God. God made
provision for us through His Name.Trespassing was the original sin. The daily bread in the
prayer is Jesus the living bread and not the bread (manna) that Moses gave to the Israelites that
came down from heaven. The bread of heaven is Jesus for our lives. The Lord’s prayer makes an
impact and brings about fullness in our lives. The Lord’s prayer is a condensed version from
beginning to the end. This prayer is what the Lord wanted. This is His will being examined,
opened and laid out. All the goodness that God has for humanity was through Abraham.
