High Speed Steel damite rolls are composed mainly of pearlite with some
Indefinite Chilled Iron cementite in the structure. Adamite rolls are stronger than cast
Nodular Iron iron rolls and harder than other steel rolls. An outstanding
Special Cast Steel
feature of adamite rolls in that the inner hardness is about the
same as that of the surface. Adamite steel rolls are classified as ordinary,
alloy, special, composite, or high alloy compound. Applications include:
