INSTALLATION LOCATION
• We recommend that this air conditioner be installed properly by qualified installation
technicians in accordance with the Installation Instructions provided with the unit.
• Before installation, check that the voltage of the electric supply in your home or office is the
same as the voltage shown on the nameplate.

• Do not install this air conditioner where there are fumes or flammable gases, or in an
extremely humid space such as a greenhouse.
WARNING • Do not install the air conditioner where excessively high heat-generating objects
are placed.

Avoid: To protect the air conditioner from heavy corrosion, avoid installing the outdoor unit where
salty sea water can splash directly onto it or in sulphurous air near a spa.

ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
1. All wiring must conform to the local electrical codes. Consult your dealer or a qualified
electrician for details.
2. Each unit must be properly grounded with a ground (or earth) wire or through the supply
wiring.
3. Wiring must be done by a qualified electrician.

To warm up the system, the power mains must be turned on Power mains
at least five (5) hours before operation. Leave the power
CAUTION mains ON unless you will not be using this appliance for an ON
extended period.

NOTE Disconnect the mains plug from the supply socket and main circuit breaker when not in use for
an extended period of time. When turning off some of the outdoor or indoor units, the entire
system becomes inoperative.

 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Read these Operating Instructions carefully before using this air conditioner. If you still have any difficulties or problems,
consult your dealer for help.
• This air conditioner is designed to give you comfortable room conditions. Use this only for its intended purpose as described in
these Operating Instructions.
WARNING
Confirm to authorized dealer or specialist on usage of
specified refrigerant type. Using of refrigerant other than
the specified type may cause product damage, burst and
injury etc.
Never touch the unit with wet hands.
Never use or store gasoline or other flammable vapor or
liquid near the air conditioner — it is very dangerous.
Do not use this appliance in a potentially explosive
atmosphere.
This air conditioner has no ventilator for intaking fresh air
from outdoors. You must open doors or windows frequently
when you use gas or oil heating appliances in the same
room, which consume a lot of oxygen from the air.
Otherwise there is a risk of suffocation in an extreme case.
Provide a power outlet to be used exclusively for each
unit, and a power supply disconnect, circuit breaker and
earth leakage breaker for overcurrent protection should be
provided in the exclusive line.
Provide a power outlet exclusively for each unit, and
full disconnection means having a contact separation

isolate the air conditioner from the main power supply in
case of emergency.
Do not insert your fingers or other objects into the air
conditioner indoor or outdoor unit, rotating parts may

Do not use modified cord, joint cord, extension
cord or unspecified cord to prevent overheating

• The unit stops running immediately even if it is switched
on for operation.
• The fan does not stop even if the operation is stopped.
Contact immediately your local dealer for maintenance/
repair.
CAUTION
This appliance is intended to be used by expert or trained
users in shops, in light industry and on farms, or for
commercial use by lay persons.
Do not turn the air conditioner on and off from the power
mains switch. Use the ON/OFF operation button.
Do not stick anything into the air outlet of the outdoor
unit. This is dangerous because the fan is rotating at
high speed.
Do not touch the air inlet or the sharp aluminum fins
of the outdoor unit. You may get injured.
Keep the fire alarm and the air outlet at least 1.5m away
from the unit.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that do not
play with the appliance.
Do not cool or heat the room too much if babies or invalids
are present.
Do not sit or step on the unit. You may fall down
accidentally.
Do not stick any object into the FAN CASE.
You may be injured and the unit may be
damaged.

ADJUSTING AIRFLOW DIRECTION
The functions differ depending on the indoor unit used. The airflow direction cannot be set
using the remote controller for any unit which is not listed below.
Y2 type, K2 type:

• Never use your hands to move the flap (vertical airflow flap) that is controlled using
the remote controller.
• When the air conditioner is turned off, the flap (vertical airflow flap) automatically moves to
the downward position.
• The flap (vertical airflow flap) moves to the upward position when performing the standby
operation for heating. The swing operation is made after the standby operation for heating is
released, but swing is indicated on the remote controller even during the standby operation
for heating.

Y2 type air conditioner is equipped with auto flaps.

You can set the airflow direction to a specific angle or to the sweep mode using the remote
controller.
Do not move the flap with your hands.
CAUTION

 Wall mounted type (K2)

Indoor unit Confirm that the remote controller has been turned on. Press the FLAP button to start the flap
moving up and down. If you want to stop the flap movement and to direct the air in the desired
direction, press the FLAP button again. In the cool mode, do not direct the flap down and move
out of the cooling zone “A”, otherwise, condensation may drip on to the floor. Zone ‘‘A’’ is the
recommended flap position for cooling.
When operating continuously in the fixed airflow direction setting for about an hour, the airflow
direction is automatically controlled and the flap position is changed. The airflow direction may
be different from the display on the remote controller.

INDOOR UNITS USING SINGLE REMOTE
CONTROLLER (WIRED)
• If multiple indoor units are connected to a remote controller, the airflow direction can be set
for each indoor unit by selecting the indoor units (see the operation below).
Auto Flap ( ) button • To set the airflow for individual units, press the UNIT button. Display shows the indoor unit
number under group control. Set the airflow direction for the indoor unit that is shown on the
display.
• Each time UNIT is pressed, the indicator changes in the order shown below.
• When nothing is displayed, you can make the setting for all indoor units in one operation.
• The unit number is displayed as Outdoor Unit Number–Indoor Unit Number. It varies
depending on the number of units under group control.

 SPECIAL REMARKS
‘‘DRY’’ Operation
How it works • Once the room temperature reaches the level that was set, the unit repeats the cycle of
turning on and off automatically.
• In order to prevent the humidity in the room from rising again, the indoor fan also turns off
when the unit stops operating.
• The fan speed is set to ‘‘LO.’’ automatically, and cannot be adjusted.
• ‘‘DRY’’ operation is not possible if the outdoor temperature is 15 °C or less.

Heating Operation
Heating performance • Because this appliance heats a room by utilizing the heat of the outside air (heat pump
system), the heating efficiency will fall off when the outdoor temperature is very low. If
sufficient heat cannot be obtained with this heat pump, use another heating appliance in
conjunction with this unit.
Defrosting • When the outdoor temperature is low, frost or ice may form on the outdoor heat exchanger
coil, reducing the heating performance. When this happens, a microcomputer-controlled
defrosting system operates. At the same time, the fan on the indoor unit stops (or runs at
very low speed in some cases) and the ‘‘STANDBY’’ indicator appears on the display until
defrosting is completed. Heating operation then restarts after several minutes. (This interval
will vary slightly depending upon the outdoor temperature and the way in which frost forms.)

warmed up sufficiently. This is because a cold draft prevention system is operating. During

turned off (or when the unit is running at very low speed) by the thermostat when the
system is in the heating mode.
• Upon completion of defrosting and when the compressor is turned on again, ‘‘ ’’
(standby) will turn off automatically as heating operation resumes.

NOTE Should the power fail while the unit is running

If the power supply for this unit is temporarily cut off, the unit will automatically resume
operation (once the power is restored) using the same settings before the power was cut off.

CARE AND CLEANING

1. For safety, be sure to turn the air conditioner off and also to disconnect the power
before cleaning.
WARNING 2. Do not pour water on the indoor unit to clean it. This will damage the internal
components and cause an electric shock hazard.

1. Never use solvents or harsh chemicals when cleaning the indoor unit. Do not wipe
plastic parts using very hot water.
2. Some metal edges and the fins are sharp and may cause injury if handled

3. The internal coil and other components of the outdoor unit must be cleaned
periodically. Consult your dealer or service center.

TIPS FOR ENERGY SAVING

Avoid
• Do not block the air intake and outlet of the unit. If either is obstructed, the unit will not work well, and may be
damaged.
• Do not let direct sunlight into the room. Use sunshades, blinds or curtains. If the walls and ceiling of the room are warmed by the
sun, it will take longer to cool the room.

 LOKASI PEMASANGAN
• Kami mencadangkan supaya alat penyaman udara ini dipasang dengan betul oleh
juruteknik pemasangan yang bertauliah menurut arahan pemasangan yang disediakan
dengan unit ini.

B.MALAYSIA
• Sebelum memasang, periksa bahawa voltan bekalan elektrik di rumah atau pejabat anda
adalah sama dengan voltan yang ditunjukkan pada plat nama.

• Jangan pasang alat penyaman udara ini di mana terdapat asap atau gas mudah
bakar, atau dalam ruang yang terlalu lembap seperti rumah hijau.
AMARAN • Jangan pasang alat penyaman udara di mana terletaknya objek yang menjana haba
yang terlalu tinggi.

Elakkan: Untuk melindungi penyaman udara daripada kakisan yang teruk, elakkan memasang unit
luaran di mana air laut yang masin boleh merecik terus kepada unit atau dalam udara bersulfur
berhampiran spa.

KEPERLUAN ELEKTRIK
1. Semua pendawaian perlu mematuhi kod elektrik tempatan. Runding dengan pengedar atau
juruelektrik bertauliah untuk butiran terperinci.
2. Setiap unit perlu terbumi secara betul dengan wayar bumi (atau tanah) atau melalui
pendawaian bekalan.
3. Pendawaian perlu dilakukan oleh juruelektrik bertauliah.

Untuk memanaskan sistem, bekalan kuasa utama perlu Bekalan kuasa

dipasang sekurang-kurangnya lima (5) jam sebelum utama
AWAS operasi. Biarkan bekalan kuasa utama dipasang
melainkan anda tidak akan menggunakan peralatan ini ON
untuk tempoh yang lama. (HIDUPKAN)

NOTA Cabut palam bekalan utama daripada soket bekalan dan litar pemutus utama apabila tidak
digunakan untuk tempoh yang lama. Apabila mematikan sesetengah unit luaran atau dalaman,
keseluruhan sistem menjadi tidak beroperasi.

 ARAHAN KESELAMATAN
• Baca Arahan Operasi ini betul-betul sebelum menggunakan alat penyaman udara ini. Jika anda masih ada kesukaran atau
masalah, sila hubungi pengedar anda untuk bantuan.
• Alat penyaman udara ini direka untuk memberikan anda suasana bilik yang selesa. Gunakan alat ini untuk tujuannya yang
sebenar seperti dinyatakan dalam Arahan Operasi ini.
AMARAN
Pastikan dengan pengedar bertauliah atau pakar yang
sah tentang penggunaan sebarang jenis bahan pendingin
yang ditetapkan. Menggunakan jenis bahan pendingin
selain daripada jenis yang ditetapkan boleh menyebabkan
kerosakan produk, letupan, kecederaan dan sebagainya.
Jangan sentuh unit dengan tangan yang basah.
Jangan guna atau simpan gasolin atau wap atau cecair
mudah bakar lain berdekatan dengan penyaman udara - ini
sangat bahaya.
Jangan gunakan alat ini dalam atmosfera yang mungkin
meletup.
Penyaman udara ini tidak mempunyai ventilator untuk
menyedut masuk udara segar dari luar. Anda perlu
buka pintu atau tingkap dengan kerap apabila anda
menggunakan peralatan pemanas gas atau minyak di
dalam bilik yang sama, yang menggunakan banyak oksigen
daripada udara.
Jika tidak terdapat risiko lemas dalam kes yang teruk.
Sediakan outlet kuasa untuk digunakan secara eksklusif
bagi setiap unit, dan pemutus bekalan kuasa, pemutus
litar dan pemutus kebocoran bumi untuk perlindungan arus
lebih perlu disediakan pada talian eksklusif.
Sediakan outlet kuasa secara eksklusif untuk setiap unit,
dan pemutus sambungan sepenuhnya bermaksud memiliki
pemisah sentuhan pada semua tiang perlu disertakan pada
pendawaian tetap menurut peraturan pendawaian.
Untuk mencegah kemungkinan bahaya daripada
kegagalan penebat, unit perlu terbumi.
Jangan bersihkan bahagian dalam unit dalaman dan luaran
oleh pengguna. Panggil pengedar atau pakar yang sah
untuk pembersihan.
Sekiranya peralatan ini rosak, jangan baikinya sendiri.
Hubungi pengedar jualan atau pengedar servis untuk
pembaikan.
Kebocoran gas pendingin boleh menyebabkan kebakaran.
Untuk keselamatan, pastikan penyaman udara
dimatikan dan bekalan kuasa diputuskan sebelum
pembersihan atau servis.
Cabut palam kuasa daripada soket, atau matikan pemutus,
atau matikan kuasa untuk mengasingkan alat penyaman
udara daripada bekalan kuasa utama sekiranya berlaku
kecemasan.
Jangan masukkan jari anda atau objek lain ke
dalam unit dalaman atau luaran penyaman udara,
komponen yang berputar boleh menyebabkan
kecederaan.
Jangan gunakan wayar bekalan kuasa yang
diubahsuai, disambung, dipanjangkan atau
yang tiada aspek khusus untuk mencegah
pemanasan dan kebakaran.

Berhenti daripada menggunakan produk jika berlaku
sebarang keganjilan/kegagalan dan cabut palam kuasa
atau matikan suis kuasa dan pemutus.

Hubungi pengedar di tempat anda untuk penyelenggaraan/
pembaikan.
AWAS
Peralatan ini bertujuan digunakan oleh pakar atau
pengguna terlatih di kedai, industri ringan dan di ladang,
atau untuk penggunaan komersial oleh orang biasa.
Jangan hidupkan atau matikan alat penyaman udara
daripada suis kuasa utama. Gunakan butang operasi ON
(HIDUPKAN)/OFF (MATIKAN).
Jangan lekatkan apa-apa pada saluran udara
keluar unit dalaman. Ini adalah bahaya kerana kipas
berpusing pada kelajuan yang tinggi.
Jangan sentuh saluran udara masuk atau kepingan
aluminium yang tajam pada unit luaran. Anda boleh
mendapat kecederaan.
Penggera kebakaran dan saluran udara keluar hendaklah
sekurang-kurangnya 1.5m daripada unit.
Peralatan ini bukan bertujuan digunakan oleh individu
(termasuk kanak-kanak) dengan keupayaan fizikal, deria
atau mental yang kurang, atau kurang berpengalaman atau
berpengetahuan, melainkan mereka diawasi atau diberi
arahan tentang cara penggunaan peralatan oleh individu
yang bertanggungjawab terhadap keselamatan mereka.
Kanak-kanak perlu diawasi bagi memastikan mereka tidak
bermain dengan peralatan.
Jangan terlalu sejukkan atau panaskan bilik jika bayi atau

B.MALAYSIA
Jenis Y2, jenis K2:

• Jangan guna tangan anda untuk menggerakkan ram (ram aliran udara menegak) yang
dikawal menggunakan alat kawalan jauh.
• Apabila penyaman udara dimatikan, ram (ram aliran udara menegak) secara automatik
bergerak ke kedudukan ke bawah.
• Ram (ram aliran udara menegak) bergerak ke kedudukan ke atas apabila menjalankan
operasi menunggu untuk pemanasan. Operasi ayunan dibuat selepas operasi menunggu
untuk pemanasan dilepaskan, tetapi ayunan ditunjukkan pada alat kawalan jauh walaupun
semasa operasi menunggu untuk pemanasan.

Sahkan bahawa alat kawalan jauh sudah dihidupkan. Tekan butang FLAP untuk mula
menggerakkan ram ke atas dan ke bawah. Jika anda mahu menghentikan pergerakan ram
dan mahu mengarahkan udara ke arah yang diinginkan, tekan semula butang FLAP. Dalam
mod sejuk, jangan arahkan ram ke bawah dan keluar daripada zon penyejukan “A”, jika tidak
pemeluwapan akan menitis ke lantai. Zon “A” ialah kedudukan ram yang disyorkan untuk
penyejukan.
Semasa beroperasi secara berterusan pada tetapan arah aliran udara tetap selama anggaran
satu jam, arah aliran udara akan dikawal secara automatik dan kedudukan ram berubah.
Arah aliran udara mungkin berbeza daripada paparan pada alat kawalan jauh.

 PERHATIAN KHAS
Operasi “DRY”
Cara bekerja • Sebaik sahaja suhu bilik mencapai paras yang ditetapkan, unit mengulangi kitaran dihidupkan
dan dimatikan secara automatik.
• Bagi menghalang kelembapan bilik meningkat semula, kipas dalaman turut dimatikan apabila
unit berhenti beroperasi.
• Kelajuan kipas ditetapkan pada ‘‘LO.’’ secara automatik, dan tidak boleh dilaraskan.
• Operasi ‘‘DRY’’ adalah tidak mungkin jika suhu luaran 15 °C atau kurang.

Operasi
Pemanasan
Prestasi pemanasan • Oleh kerana peralatan ini memanaskan bilik menggunakan haba daripada udara luar (sistem
pam haba), kecekapan pemanasan akan turun apabila udara luar sangat rendah. Jika haba
yang mencukupi tidak diperoleh dengan pam haba ini, gunakan peralatan pemanasan lain
bersama dengan unit ini.
Penyahbekuan • Apabila suhu luaran rendah, fros atau ais mungkin terbentuk pada gelung penukar haba luaran,
dan mengurangkan prestasi pemanasan. Apabila ini berlaku, sistema penyahbekuan kawalan
komputer mikro akan beroperasi. Pada masa yang sama, kipas pada unit dalaman berhenti
(atau berpusing pada kelajuan yang sangat rendah) dan penunjuk “STANDBY” muncul pada
paparan sehingga penyahbekuan selesai. Operasi pemanasan kemudiannya berjalan semula
selepas beberapa minit. (Waktu selang ini akan berbeza sedikit bergantung kepada suhu luaran
dan cara bagaimana fros terbentuk.)

NOTA Sekiranya bekalan kuasa gagal semasa unit beroperasi

Jika bekalan kuasa untuk unit ini diputuskan sementara, unit akan meneruskan semula operasi
secara automatik (selepas bekalan kuasa pulih) menggunakan tetapan yang sama sebelum
kuasa terputus.

PENJAGAAN DAN PEMBERSIHAN

1. Untuk keselamatan, pastikan penyaman udara dimatikan dan bekalan kuasa diputuskan
sebelum membersih.
AMARAN 2. Jangan tuang air pada unit dalaman untuk membersihkannya. Ini akan merosakkan
komponen dalaman dan menyebabkan bahaya kejutan elektrik.

1. Jangan gunakan pelarut atau bahan kimia yang kasar semasa membersihkan unit
dalaman. Jangan lap bahagian plastik menggunakan air yang sangat panas.
2. Sesetengah hujung logam dan bilah adalah tajam dan mungkin menyebabkan
AWAS kecederaan jika tidak dikendalikan dengan betul; anda perlu berhati-hati semasa
membersihkan bahagian ini.
3. Gelung dalaman dan komponen lain pada unit luaran perlu dibersihkan secara berkala.

“DRY”（除濕）運轉
如何操作 • 一旦室溫達到所設定的溫度，本機會自動重複開啟和關閉循環。
• 為了防止室内濕度再次上升，當本機停止操作，室内風扇也會停止操作。

室內機

現象 檢查
噪音 運轉時或運轉後聽見類似流水聲。 • 製冷劑液體在機內流動的聲音。
• 通過排水管排水的聲音。
