COMMUNICTIVE LANGUAGE LEARNING According to Curran, a counselor


helps a client understand his or her own problems better by capturing the essence of
the client concern and relating affect to cognition, in effect understanding the client
and responding in a detached yet considerate manner.
To restate, the counselor blends what the clients feels and what he is learning in order to
make the experience a meaning full one. Often, this supportive role requires greater energy
expenditure than ‘average’ teacher.

is about the product that comes at the end instead PBL is about the process. Project based
learning is looks like a 21st century idea when it is combined with technology, but in fact, it is
an old foundation. It was started by Confucius and Aristotle that used learning by doing.

language learning. The meanings of new words are very frequently emphasized,

4. Lexical approachBasically, the lexical approach (LA) is the primary focus is on helping
students on acquire the vocabularies. It also way to analysing and teaching language based on
idea that made up of lexical unit. The units are word, chunk term formed by collocation and
fixed phrases. It focus on development of meaningful chunks (lexical chunk or collocations)
to fulfil different functions and purposes. This approach also concentrates on developing
learners with lexis, word, minimal pairs, chunk , and word combinations. It is approach for
teaching foreign language.
