ACTIVITIES : 1. Pupils are given Wh-Questions on the board
Pre-lesson 2. Pupils are asked questions regarding their best mate and they
will answer them using their mini whiteboards (FA)

(development) 1. Pupils write their own ideas and notes about what they can
include about themselves
2. Pupils share the information with their partner
3. Three volunteers are chosen to share to the class
4. Pupils are divided into groups of four.

(Differentiation by the type of amount and support)

5. The pupils with a higher proficiency are asked to lead the
group.
6. Pupils write three simple sentences and three compound
sentences about themselves and their mates.
 7. Pupils transfer their writing into a mahjong paper.

(Formative Assessment – writing feedback)

8. Pupils will paste their mahjong paper on the wall.
9. Pupils will be given coloured stick-on notes for them to write
feedback to be pasted on their friends’ mahjong paper during
the gallery walk activity.
Post-lesson Pupils are given the pyramid reflection : Write three things that
you have learnt about your best mate, two words that you have
learnt from this lesson, and one question that you would like to
ask.
