3. What motivates you to apply for this position in Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia?

First time I saw its job ad in Karir, I was immediately interested. I knew that CCAI was a big company,
and I'm sure I will get many things to learn if I work right there and at the same time I can apply the
knowledge I got from college. So I'm try to challenge myself, because I want to grow and develop,
and absorb all the knowledge at CCAI. Even tough I knew it's not easy to get through its recruitment
process. Not only that, I also admire the performance of this company that has been able to survive
since its inception until now, through so many economic situations. Of course I think that all people
who work at CCAI companies are great people, who are able to run the company well. That’s the
reason why I want to join CCAI, I want to work with all the great people at CCAI.

Story of My Life*

1. Tell us more about yourself!

How many siblings do you have? How is your family? What is the most valuable thing that you consider
important in life?

About my family, my father was an Indonesian Navy, but now he has retired and working as a security in a local
company because he is a hard worker, he want to still productive in his age. My mother is a housewife, but lately
she decided to open a sewing business at home and became a tailor. I only have one sibling, he is my old brother,
he working in a retail company as a warehouse staff. They all are live in Sidoarjo, so I live alone in Jakarta since I
study in college. For me the most valuable thing in life is about making things more meaningful. Our life
experiences are ours, the bitter-sweetness of our lives is a learning, so we need to make it count with gratefulness.

2. Highlight of Achievement
Tell us what was the situation, what did you do at that time and what was the result.
At the end of the college, I have to make a thesis to get my bachelor degree. At that time I was confused,
don’t have any idea while my friends has a wonderful research topics. Suddenly I have idea to raise the
topic about mental health, which is The Meaning of Life by Viktor Frankl. So sad when I know that my peer
make fun of my idea, they said that it’s going to be so hard and I can’t do that. I’ve drop for a while when
my thesis supervisor want to change my topic because its already exist. But not take a long time, I’ve
decided to change my topics from The Meaning of Life to Forgiveness. Then my thesis supervisor accepting
my idea although she little bit worried and I still see my friend make fun of it. I found it hard during the
process, but I don’t give up because I’m so sure that my idea is ‘out of the box’. Finally, the examination
day has come, I can trough it very well. At the end of day, I can prove those who make fun my idea, I got
‘A’ point while my friends got ‘B+’ and ‘A-‘. Not only that, my thesis supervisor was amazed by my progress,
she give me chance to join her projects of research, and I got opportunity to join her as a writer of Cross-
Cultural Psychology book.

3. Toughest Challenge
Tell us what was the situation, what did you do at that time, and how did you overcome it.
My toughest challenge is when I was chosen as Head of Quarantine Department in my organization, Purna
Paskibra Indonesia Kecamatan Srandakan, in 2015. That actually my first time to be chosen in that
department, while I don’t have any experiences about quarantine procedure. But because I love challenge,
and I was thought it just doing what have been noted in job description so I accept it. As time goes by, I
found so much obstacles and I don’t know how to solve it, my supervisor also don’t want to guide me. So
I gather my staff to doing discussion. Even tough my supervisor keep berating me until I feel so fatigue, I
still try to professional and working all out with my staff. Finally, the event was success, I’ve learnt many
things and I wrote it down as the evaluation, so the next year when I have to be chosen in that position
for the second period in 2016, I can make it better and make it easy to do with my staff again.
