References of Govt. of Delhi read with the orders passed by the Hon’ble National Green Tribunal &
article 51 A (g) of India Constitution, referring performance of our fundamental duties. As per Mandate of
Department of Forest in Delhi, as under:

Protection and Development of Forests of Delhi.

Preservation of Trees in Delhi.
Protection of wildlife and Conservation of wildlife habitats.
Enforcement of the Indian Forest Act, 1927, the Wildlife(Protection) Act,1972, the Forest
(Conservation) Act, 1980, the Delhi Preservation of Trees Act, 1994 and Rules made there under as also
the directions issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India and Delhi High Court etc on forestry matters.
Enlisting of people's participation in making Delhi Green.

The survival of human race depends on sustainable usage of natural resources. Delhi Forest Department
shares the concern of people over increasing pressure of urbanization on the forest cover of Delhi and
seeks to educate and sensitize the citizens to prot

ect the forest and preserve the trees in Delhi.

To safeguard our flora & fauna, there are No Biodiversity Management Committees are functional in
Delhi, besides it No People’s Biodiversity Reports are prepared, as per Biological Diversity Act, 2002.

Please find attached here with concerned office orders & orders passed by the NGT, related to BMC, to
ask public servant of your area, from bottom to higher ups, preparing report card of your representatives
in both houses of Indian Parliament, Delhi Legislative Assembly, NDMC with MCD.
