Summary

Resolve the previous issue with use the matlab application and understand how to use
matlab as well as can display the application program or GUI
1. Problem statment

In this task we were given an assignment to copy 24 previous tasks we work on C++ to the
pointless matlab application for see if our group knows how to work at matlab basically
matlab is made to simplify the work of algorithms to make it easier for us to do assignments
using matlab we were rather troubled because of commands what is needed is more and a
little different similarly the complicated syntax because the commands on C++ that we use
is somewhat different with matlab for example in C++ the commands sign “&” is it need 2
but in the matlab application only need 1 , maybe we need time to adjust with the use of
matlab

1. in the problem we are working on now, we are asked to create an algorithm

program to calculate the area of a rectangle by using the matlab application

2. in the matter of this assignment we were asked to create a program of extensive

calculation algorithm circle using the matlab application

3. The task given contains how to calculate the formula of E = MC2 by writing an
algorithm using the matlab program

4. in the next problem we were asked to make a temperature conversion program

using matlab

5. in our next assignment asked to make a complete time conversion program using
matlab

6. then the problem that we are working on is making a program to determine the
distance traveled by using matlab

7. in this problem we are asked to create a multiplication program of 2 fractions by

entering random numbers from users using the matlab application

8. the next question is to make a program to convert dollars into rupiahs using matlab

9. the next problem is making a program about calculating hourly salaries of employees
with 1 hour input equal to 5000 rupiah using the matlab application

10. the task now is to create a program to find out the middle value (median) with
random input based on a formula that has been translated into an algorithm using
the matlab application the number of inputs we are working on is a maximum of 3
numbers

11. in the task that we are doing we are asked to determine the triangle type algorithm
program, whether it is an isosceles triangle, an equilateral triangle or an arbitrary
triangle by entering 3 pieces of random numbers so the output that comes out is in
the form of a triangle type using the matlab application
12. in the following problem we are asked to make a discount calculation algorithm
program that is obtained if the total expenditure matches the request of the
discount calculation that we made in the form of workmanship in the matlab
application

13. in this task we are asked to determine the smallest and largest number of 4 inputs
that are randomly input and determine the number is negative or positive by using
the matlab application

14. in this issue we were asked to convert letter values using the matlab application

15. this task we were asked to create a menu with a choice of formulas: area of triangle,
area of circle and area of rectangle and after the user chooses one of the menus it
will be asked to enter numbers to be calculated using the formula chosen using the
matlab application

16. in this task we are asked to determine a number that is entered randomly is an odd
or even number by using the matlab application

17. in this task we ask to determine the age of someone by entering the number of the
date, month and year of birth of a person and will produce a calculation of the age
of the person now using the matlab application

18. in this question we are asked to find out the input of substances that are entered
randomly in the form of frozen or liquid substances by using the temperature input
of these objects using the matlab application

19. the following problem we are asked to find out the location of the square entered
into the input using the matlab application

20. the problem that we are working on right now is to check the numbers that are
randomly input will be divisible by the number 5 and number 3 or not by writing the
program into matlab

21. in this problem we were asked to write a validation algorithm program so that it was
not divided by 0 using the matlab application

22. in the following assignment because we cannot describe in sentence form, we can
only give a little explanation about the following problem, we are asked to enter the
formulas of A, B, and C into the algorithm form using the matlab application

3. Analysis

from the problems we are working on given assignments we conclude this task serves to find
out whether we can describe the tasks that were done beforehand in the form of C ++ into
MATLAB form, in its work we found that there were things we had to learn and we train
again because the commands used in MATLAB are more concise but because we are familiar
with C ++ we are a little confused in working on the algorithm program after we finish it we
have to compile it first whether it is correct or not then we are required to EXECUTE the
program that has been done into the form of application that has been provided by MATLAB
application, if the application does not run means the program that we are working on is not
successful and we must repeat it

4. Conclusion

In writing the program algorithm written briefly and there is a GUI that serves to display the
program we work in this issue we found a difference from using the C++ application to the
matlab application form, that is when using commands there are many differences and in
using matlab there is a GUI that can run the algorithm program that we made
