We the People of 110208, in Order to form a more fretful Union, establish Tension, insure domestic

Insecurity, provide for a common anxiety, promote general commiseration, and secure the Blessings of
Memories for ourselves through the twists of Providence, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the
2019 Snowpocalypse Nuzlocke Biathlon.

1. Trainers may carry any living Pokémon they catch or receive as a gift.
a. DUPE CLAUSE: When a Trainer catches a Pokémon, its species is familiar to the Trainer.
A Trainer may not catch familiar species of Pokémon.
b. FIRST ENCOUNTER CLAUSE: Trainers may catch the first Pokémon they encounter
in each area which is not familiar to them.
c. FAINT/FLEE CLAUSE: If that Pokémon faints or flees, there are no second chances.
d. SINGLE-CATCH CLAUSE: Trainers may not catch more than one Pokémon in one area.
i. TEMPORARY INDENTURE CLAUSE: If a Trainer has no living Pokémon
which may learn a necessary field move, they may catch and release a Pokémon, as a
temporary indenture, for the purpose of using the field move.
e. LEVEL CAP CLAUSE: Trainers may not battle with any Pokémon whose level is higher
than the level of their next Gym Leader’s highest-leveled Pokémon.
f. NICKNAME CLAUSE: All Pokémon must have nicknames.
2. Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead and must be permanently forsaken.
3. Trainers will, from time to time, communicate their progress.
a. EULOGY CLAUSE: Trainers will publicly eulogize their dead Pokémon at the moment of
death.
i. HYMN CLAUSE: A Trainer who loses their starter Pokémon may instead elect to
lead the group in a Christian hymn for that Pokémon.
b. GEOGRAPHY CLAUSE: Trainers will mark their most recent location on a public map.
4. At the end of a set time, Trainers will tournament battle with their final team of six Pokémon.
a. SEED CLAUSE: Battles will be seeded by final progress measured by Gym badges, with
ties broken by highest Pokémon level, and further ties broken by coin toss.
b. CONTEST CLAUSE: If it is possible to conduct one of those dumb beauty contests &c.,
these may suffice as a separate consolation bracket for Battle losers.
5. Trainers will adhere to these rules in honor and good faith.
a. IMPEACHMENT CLAUSE: The several Trainers, upon finding serious misfeasance in
one Trainer’s actions, may choose to impeach that Trainer by unanimous vote.
b. CENSURE CLAUSE: The several Trainers, upon finding dishonor or bad faith in one
Trainer’s actions, may choose to censure that Trainer by majority vote.
c. DUE PROCESS CLAUSE: No Trainer shall be censured or impeached without due
process of law.
d. PUNISHMENT CLAUSE: An impeached Trainer finishes in last place by default. A
censured Trainer receives a punishment deliberated and decided by the several Trainers.
