Lesson: DAILY ROUTINES Level: PRE A1+

Timing: 20-25 minutes Age: between 9 and 12 years old

Aim: to talk about daily routines

 To introduce vocabulary of daily routines  The pupils will identify the vocabulary and use
 To show the form of simple present in it to express their daily routine

STAGE ACTIVITIES TIME
WARM-UP -T will greet students and start the class by playing hot potato 5 MIN
-T will give the vocabulary related to daily routine in pieces of paper
to the kids
PRESENTATION 4 MIN
-T will paste images in the board and students have to match them
when she mention each activity as well as she act the activity
-T will ask students to mimic when she mention the activities
-T will ask students to work in pairs
PRACTICE 4 MIN
-T will give them a memory game so they will play with it and when
they found the pairs they have to do the mimic of that activity
-T will write an example of a sentence talking about her daily routine
“I wake up at 8 am”
PRODUCTION 4 MIN
-T will ask students to tell different examples of their daily routine using
the vocabulary seen in class
-T will ask students what was their favorite part of the class and what

interesting things they learned
