EVEN HEAT CONTROL SYSTEM

GENERAL
The Even Heat Control System consist of : a main control
board (EHC1), a heating element assembly and a thermis-
tor for discharge air measurement. The system is
designed for field installation in the CB29, CB30 and
CB31MV series blower coil units, and is available in 9kw,
12.5kw, 15kw and 20kw 240vac, single−phase. The sys-
tem provides heat during thermostat demand for electric
heat only and heat pump applications. The ECB29EH is
compatible with electromechanical, electronic and pro-
grammable thermostats.

Information in this manual is intended for use by a qualified

service technician only. All specifications are subject to
change. Procedures outlined in this manual are presented
as a recommendation only and do not supersede or re-
place local, state or national codes.
ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD)
Precautions and Procedures

CAUTION
Electrostatic discharge can affect electronic
components. Take precautions during unit
installation and service to protect the unit’s
electronic controls. Precautions will help to
avoid control exposure to electrostatic dis-
charge by putting the unit, the control and the
technician at the same electrostatic potential.
