Background Study

Dwelling of the Modern Technology came accross our hands. Nowadays every

individual can access technology on just a touch of hand. As a part of this improvement,

gaming has been widely known since the personal computer has been introduced. On the

introduction of 21st century, Dota is one of the cosidered famous game to be widely

played. Until this year Dota is upgraded to Dota 2 and is in competition with other games

like ROS and Mobile Legends. Though their games can either be played through PC’s or

Mobile Phones.

Mobile Legends, one of the said online game which teenager are fond of. As was

observed, most of the students of Kamora National High School specifically the Senior

High School but not only in this school but stereotype of different schools inside or

outside Kabayan. Curiousity is one of the reason that gives us eagerness to know why

they are playing this game through performing their studies.

Objectives

 To define Mobile Legends

 To find out the number & Percentage of Senior High Students who are playing

Mobile Legends

 To find out the reasons why students are engrossed in playing the game
 To distinguised the amount spent in surfing for the game in a week

 To determine the advantages and disadvantages of playing Mobile Legends

Research Question

 What is Mobile Legends?

 How did Mobile Legends started?

 What benifits does the player get from playing the game?

 How many minutes or hours the player plays the game?

 Are the other tasks or works being done affect by the game?

o How does the player manage time?

 What is the percentage of students playing Mobile Legends?

 How much money, spent in surfing for the game in a week?

Significance of the Study

This study on Mobile Legends serves as a reference for school administrators to

find out a solution on how to deal with the students who are fond of playing and to be

able to craft school rules and regulations which will help the school to manage the time of

every students on playing. For teachers, this study will give them an idea to what the
game is al about and it will help them to give advices to those students who are fond of

playing the game. And also for the parents, this study will serve as guidlines in advicing

their children and will give an idea on how to discipline them. For some reasons, this

study is towards the student who are fond of playing Mobile Legends. This study will

help in answering the questions in the mind of citizens who didn’t get aware of this. The

significsnce of this research is to help students on how to manage their time in school and

in manipulating gadget for them not to make this game as a habit. On fraction of

anything valuable is very valuable itself. In order to give an idea to the next researhers,

this research will have a fraction of the knowledge regarding the matter.

Scope and Delimitation

This study will be conducted within Kamora National High School Campus,

Senior High School Area. The respondents will be picked among the currently enrolled

for the school year 2019-2020 0f the KNHS. Students who play Mobile Legends will be

the focus of the study. The Grade 11 and Grade 12 will be chosen respondents during

thier free time. In order not to disturb thier time in studying.

Inclusion Criteria

 Student of Kamora National High School currently enrolled school year 2019-

2020.
 Senior High School student (Grade 11 and Grade 12)

 Student who are playing Mobile Legends

 Student who installed Mobile Legends on thier smart phone
