METHOD STATEMENT
DESCRIPTION OF WORKS

Arrive on site at approx 8 am and if required undertake site induction to familiarise

ourselves with health and safety requirements and all site conditions

Erect warning signage and mobile tower and check all plant is working in a satisfactory

Once completed and the supervisor deems area of works safe, begin cleaning process.

Pre wet all stonework using the DOFF system

4. Apply via kill spray Lynobor 10 biocide to all area and leave to dwell for 2-4 hours

Thoroughly rinse down using the DOFF super heated water system 150 degrees, 2 litres

per min, 30 psi and clean the stonework as much as is possible.

Once completed carefully remove by hand all failed cementitious repairs and clean out

the joints , to leave dust free

Measure and install matching stone indents to original lines and profiles and fix utilising

stainless steel threaded dowels (4mm) if required in conjunction with a lime mortar

De-scale all loose and flaking areas of stone using appropriate hand tools and phosphor

bronze brushes back to sound surface

9. Once completed pack away all equipment and leave area in a clean and tidy condition
