Convert scanned documents to searchable PDF files

Scanned files can be converted to searchable PDF files. This feature can be activated by choosing "Searchable PDF" as output format in the dropdown
menu after selecting the file. Then an optical character recognition (only in selected languages) will be applied and contained text in images and scans will
be selectable, copyable and also searchable.

Create an Image-PDF
You can also choose "Image-PDF" as output format. Then you get a PDF file, which seems to be like a scanned document which contains only images. Text
will not be copyable and also not selectable because the whole content is converted as an image.

Conversion from PDF to Word, Excel, Powerpoint and other formats

PDF files can be converted to MS Office files, for example to Word, Excel, Powerpoint and even to RTF (Rich-Text-Format). After the conversion, you can
open the files with your Microsoft Office and edit them easily. The maximum file size is 100 MB.
Please note that only up to 100 pages can be converted at once.

Just select your file and then choose the output format in the dropdown menu near "convert to".

You can also select several PDF files at the same time. By default, all files are merged and afterwards they are converted to the selected output format. If
you want to convert each file separately, then you have to choose the option 'Convert files separately' (see screenshot in last section).

PDF to image files (.jpg or .png)

If you need just image files of your PDF document, for example if the PDF file contains photos and you would like to save them as normal image files, then
just select this output format. After the conversion you will get a ZIP archive which contains a separate image for each page in the PDF document.

Conversion of single files

All standard formats are supported and can be converted to PDF. The maximum file size is 100 MB.

MS Office: Word - doc, docx, docm, dot, dotx, dotm, wps

Just select your files and then click on "Convert".

Add multiple files at the same time:

In modern browsers it is possible to select several files in the same file dialog window by pressing the Ctrl key. As a result, many files can be added fast and
easily, without adding each file separately.

Convert several files separately at the same time:

To convert multiple files individually and at the same time, you have to choose the option 'Convert files separately' after you have selected the files. As a
result you get a ZIP archive, which contains all the converted PDF files. If you do not choose this option, the files are still converted, but the files are merged
and you get only one single PDF file as output.
