Benefits of part-time jobs

The most obvious major advantage of part-time work is having more free time to do other things.
For some people, this may be the most important consideration.

Many individuals choose part-time job as a way to balance work-life obligations such as
childcare, family demands, education, personal needs and interests.

Working part-time is also one way of gaining experience and training in an unfamiliar job field.

A part-time job while at university can have a positive impact on student’s life; the extra cash
from part-time work lets students cover the cost of living more comfortably, sometimes even
leaving a little aside for fun. Students who earn their own money tend to spend it wisely. They
are more likely to save their money for necessities such as textbooks and rent.
