Activity

“Before we proceed to our new lesson for today,


let’s wake up your auras. We’re going to have an
activity!”

“Let’s play Pinoy Henyo: English Version”

“I have here some strip of papers inside the


envelope containing words that you need to guess.
Now, I need four pair of volunteers to do this
activity. One representative in each duo will pick
their envelope number.”

“Each set of duo will guess three words. One of


them will answer YES or NO depending on how
the other will ask about the word and the other
one will guess the exact word by asking for
hints.”
“I will give you two minutes to guess the words
and the most number of correct answers within a “Yes ma’am!”
short span of time wins.”

“Are you ready?”

“Timer starts now!”

“/th/ sound has two classifications of


pronunciation, the voiced and unvoiced. These
sounds are the only pair of English sounds that
share a single, common spelling but differ in
pronunciation.”

“With the exception of being voiced or unvoiced,


both sounds are nearly identical; the tip of your
tongue is placed on the upper part of your front
teeth.”

“The difference of pronouncing these sounds is


the voiced sound creates vibration while you
mouth it and the unvoiced sound doesn’t produce
any vibration at all.”

“Class, I think everybody already knows our topic


today, let us have an activity again.. I need 3
participants each group here in front. I have strip
of papers containing tongue twisters each group
should accomplish. Our activity for today is
entitled, ‘Tongue Twister Relay’.”
“Each group will pick here in the box and say the
tongue twisters out at least twice and pass the
paper until it reaches to the last participant. You
will be provided 2 minutes of time. The group
who will speak more accomplished tongue
twisters in the span of time wins.”

sentence and after writing it, you will shout the
name of your group and say the written words
aloud.”
