Methodology

A. Research Design

The researcher chose a Causal comparative for the research design because it best

served to answer the questions and the purposes of the study. Causal-comparative research is

an attempt to identify a causative relationship between an independent variable and a

dependent variable. The relationship between the independent variable and dependent

variable is usually a suggested relationship (not proven) because the researcher do not have

complete control over the independent variable. Also the purpose of this study is to know the

effects of employees selling characteristic to consumer behavior of Avon users when it

comes to buying a product to Avon.

B. Sample and Sampling Techniques

The participants in this study will be 100 Avon users in Makati. The researchers will

use a cluster sampling for sampling method. The participants should be an Avon users only.

C. Instrumentation

The data will be used in this study will be collected through the use of questionnaire.

D. Statistical Treatment of data

Respondents to the questionnaire by avon users will statistically analyzed with the

data requirements of the study. Avon users were statistically analyzed with the data

instruments of the study. To know if there are correlation between the independent

and dependent variables.

E. Data Gathering procedure

Step 1: Preparation

The researcher will provide a requisition letter approved and signed by the Employees

In Avon and researcher themselves. In addition, the researcher will also need survey all the

Avon users.

Step 2: Actual Distribution and Gathering of Questionnaire

The survey questionnaire will be distributed to the 100 respondents the questionnaire

will be done.

Step 3: Tallying and Tabulation

When all the data were gathered, the researcher will proceed to tallying, tabulating

analyzing and interpretation of all the data gathered with the guidance and recommendation

of research supervisor.
