GENERAL NOTES

The work of any design professionals and or contractor which are or should be
involved in this project shall follow good construction practices.

The contractor is responsible to check the plans and is to notify the designer
of any errors or omissions prior to start of construction.

Written dimensions have precedence over scaled dimensions.

All manufactured materials, components, fasteners, assemblies, etc., shall be

handled and installed in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.

Contractor shall complete work in accordance with National Building Regulations. Finish
work is to be in a professional

Door openings are to be set 150mm from intersecting walls unless otherwise
stated. Window openings are to be set 100mm from intersecting walls unless
otherwise stated.

See structural engineering drawings for structural connection techniques,

instructions for construction and tie down details. Contact Mechanical, electrical

and plumbing engineering drawings for required services and installation

specifications

Showers shall be ceramic tile wall to 7 ft. above finished floor level and shall be
provided with a water resistant backing. All
shower doors shall be tempered or laminated safety glass or shatter resistany plastic.

Specifications and drawings indicate finished structure. Builder shall be responsible

for construction methods, procedures, and conditions (including safety) except as
specfcally indicated in the contract documents.

All fire resisting doors shall have a fire rating of not less than 1 hour and fitted with an
automatic self-closing device
actuated by a fusible link.
