BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MONTGOMERY,

ALABAMA, that the Council proposes to consider the adoption of a 1 percent Occupational
Tax.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a committee will be appointed to study the

proposed allocations for revenues generated. Said committee to meet over the next several
weeks and report to the Council as a whole of its findings at the February 4, 2020 Regular
Council Meeting.

The first committee meeting will be January 14, 2020 at 2 p.m. in the Old Council
Chamber with the leaders of the Public Safety Division.
