Error Codes
1. Ensure machine is assembled and test cycled to get most of the air out of the system.
2. Lower arm to lowest position, at rear boom position switch adjust lowered target screw to have
4mm gap +/- 0.5mm
3. Raise arm to highest position, at rear boom position switch adjust raised target screw to have
4mm gap +/- 0.5mm
4. With bucket on machine, raise arm until there is 6” clearance between bottom of bucket and
level ground.
5. Watch the indicator in ServiceMaster.
6. With arc piece loosened, rotate arc until screw head activates switch. Lock arc at this position.
7. Test leveling system to ensure bucket is leveling in the majority of the boom operating range.
Bucket should stop leveling approximately 6” from ground on the way down. Bucket should start
leveling within 9” of ground on the way up. Bucket should stop leveling within last 9” of height
travel up. Coming from full height going down, bucket should start leveling within 12” of full
height position.
Component Identification / Location
Aux/Boom Change Over Valve
Location: In the engine bay, mounted on the right side just above the fuel sender.
Inclinometer
The External Auxiliary hold switch is optional. If fitted, it will be located under the left-hand pod.
C911 troubleshooting
When a C911 software mismatch code appears, check the Version Information in the Skid Steer
Diagnostics Tool. Software versions for all ECUs (except for the Left Hand Switch Panel) must all start
with the same number. For example: RHC 4.xx, CM ECU 4.xx, EH ECU 4.xx.
If an ECU has a different version level than the other ECUs, the system will detect a software mismatch.
For example: RHC 3.xx, CM ECU 4.xx, EH ECU 4.xx. In this example one ECU has version 3 and the others
have version 4. This would generate a C911 code. The fix for this is to flash the ECUs so that they all
have software that stars with the same version number.
The other possible cause of the C911 code is one or more ECUs disappearing from the CAN. If the ECM,
RHC, CM ECU or EH ECU do not show up on the CAN – it will generate the C911 code. Check power,
ground, and CAN wires to the missing ECU to determine why it is not showing up on the CAN.
1. Start and run the engine for a few minutes to oil everything. Later you will start the engine and it will
go straight to half throttle.
4. Loosen all spring retaining locks on the throttle rod such that the springs can be moved on the rod
easily. *Note: if adjustment of the throttle linkage is not required, skip steps 4, 7, and 9*
5. Turn the ignition key to the on position.
6. With the hand throttle in the 50% position and the foot throttle (if equipped) not pressed, press the i
button, up arrow button, and down arrow buttons at the same time. This will enter the calibration
mode. At this point the throttle actuator should retract fully.
7. At the actuator, push the spring retainer and spring farthest from the actuator up against the throttle
valve arm slightly compressing the spring (1/16inch to 1/8inch compression). Tighten and lock the
retainer in this position.
8. In the cab, press the i button. This will cause the actuator to extend halfway.
9. At the actuator, push the other spring and spring retainer up against the throttle valve arm slightly
compressing the spring (1/16inch to 1/8inch compression). Tighten and lock the retainer in this
position.
10. In the cab, press the i button again. This will progress the calibration to an automatic point. The
display should be asking to start the engine.
11. Start the engine. Now the calibration is going to automatically lower, and then raise the engine
RPM to find the proper points. Once all this is finished you should see CAL OK and the engine will drop
to low RPMs.
12. When the calibration finishes turn the key off for 30 seconds to save the values to memory.
