V. Observation

-In the experiment, we used the provided equipment to construct a circuit

diagram that will show the ohm’s law in the first two circuit combination. We constructed
a series-connection circuit and a parallel-connection circuit. As we were doing the
experiment, We observed that the data that we have acquired as follows the principles
of the Ohm’s law. When we made the series-connection circuit, the circuit current total
is the same as the current in each of the resistors and the voltage total is the sum of the
voltages in each resistors. While in a parallel-connected circuit, the voltage total is the
same as the voltages in each resistors and the circuit current is the sum of the circuit in
each resistor. We also observed that the resistance total is relatively lower in a parallel-
connected circuit compared to the total resistance in a series-connected circuit. After
the two circuit combination, we constructed a circuit combination that will follows the
Kirchoff’s law. The circuit consisted of two power source from end to end. We get the
measured voltages and current by simply measuring it like one would normally do like in
a series or in a parallel connection.

VI. Conclusion

- From the experiment it is found that in the series circuit the current remains the
same and the voltage divides according to the load connected. In a series circuit, the
Kirchhoff’s voltage law is applied and the sum of all the voltages equals zero. For the
parallel circuit, the voltage remains the same however, the current divides into the
branches. In parallel circuit, Kirchhoff’s current law is applied.
