ESTIMATE FOR DISMANTLING AND REMOVAL OF DISMANTLED MATERIAL OF

ABOUNDED V.R BRIDGE RD:134+945 OF HAVELI MAIN LINE

REPORT

This estimate amounting to Rs, 295783/- has been framed to cover the probable cost of above
noted work.

NECESSITY:

Haveli Main line off takes from Trimmu Barrage with a design discharge capacity of 5170 cusec. Haveli
main line is a perennial channel and runs whole the year continuously. Due to many submerged bridges
along the Haveli Main Line, it is impossible to run the channel according to its authorized discharge.
Feasibility study of NESPAK was also carried out to sort out the problem and their report also suggests
the removal of submerged bridges for the smooth running of the canal.

The bridge at Rd 122+091is an old abounded bridge and is creating hindrance in the smooth
running of the channel. It is a submerged bridge which creates damming action on the upstream of the
channel and is dangerous for the safety of main canal. Dismantled RCC slab material debris and old piers
create hinders to the smooth flow of water and this material should be removed during closure 2019-
20120.

Hence the necessity of this estimate.

BASIS:

This estimate is based on as per actual site requirement and tape measurement made by the field
formation duly checked by the undersigned. All the provision made in this estimate is as usual and
nothing is special.

RATES:

Rates provided in the estimate are as per MRS 1st Quarter 2019 of District Jhang.

FUNDS:

Sufficient funds are available. In the current financial year budget grant 2019-20

GENERAL:

The work is an important urgent nature and needs to be completed during annual closure limited
period. So an early sanction is requested please.
