GENERAL NOTES:
1. Unless otherwise noted, shutdown/ trip switch contacts are normally closed, open on trip condition.

2. Unless otherwise noted, outputs shall be de-energized to trip.


3. Unless otherwise stated, a two-second time delay shall be provided for each analog input signal to
avoid nuisance trips.
4 As a general rule, each Interlock will have a soft 'logic' reset. Any ESD valves shall also have
individual field reset. The system design shall prevent valve reset, unless the interlock has been
reset. Reset of the interlock shall be permissive only and shall not open / close the valve. Valve
opening / closing shall only be possible by subsequent local reset.
