2. E-7018 electrodes used without baking.

During routine surveillance in Offshore DHDT Pipe rack area, it was


observed that electrode E7018 & E7018-1 (NACE electrode) were kept
in same portable oven. Welding in NACE service line 12”-P-2203-B68A-
SHT1/2-SPL-2229, J-15, Welder No.10, VASUDEV PANDA & at another
location line no. 8”-P-607-2251-D63A-SHT-1/1-Z-D-SPL-7223-FJ-8
Welder No.23, ANIL THAKUR was being carried out with the mix-up
Electrode E7018 & E7018-1 (NACE electrode) were
