YOUTH CENTER
INTRODUCTION
• India is one of the fastest growing developing nations but still the
country faces many challenges . One main challenge is
unemployment which is a issue which should be seriously
concerned.
• This could lead to increasing crime rates, suicide child labour etc.
Creation of slum is one of the after effect of unemployment.
• Due to un-availability of proper channels there is a lack in cultural,
physical & sports activities.
• The economic condition of most of the Indian family is inadequate
to sustain all round development of youths at their best potential.
• The current education system is now changed as a source for
business run byy the wealthy, selling knowledge is not a better way
to framing the future.
• The current system of selling knowledge has kept the rich richer and
the poor poorer.
• Youth centre aims at providing skill development classes on all level.
• Thus transforming the youth into framing the best future to the
society rather than being burden to the society.

2. Linking Traditional Culture With Modern Era
• INTRODUCTION
- The newer generation are mostly attracted towards malls rather than
parks or outdoor games
- The existing park at kayamkulam is currently un-used by the public.
This is maybe because of other sufficient factors that will support the
park such as commercials or cafes.
- Kayamkulam boat race is conducted in the precinct of this park, which
becomes dead after the event. Existing built water pavilion is unused
after the event, which have potential for other activities such as a
stage for performing arts , promoting tourism.
- the usage of parks could be improved by inviting the public to other
facilities such as commercials or cafes.
- There is an existing proposal for multiplex theatre near the site by
Kerala State Film Development Corporation. Linking park with the PROGRAMS
multiplex theatre accompanied by commercials will boost the activities
