NetWorx is a freeware which purpose is network usage monitoring and allows to
filter which connection to monitor. It also has some reporting ability.

Filtering our Wi-Fi traffic

Monitoring our Wi-Fi connection only needs to define what MAC address we want to
monitor. Other traffic will be ignored.

In the Main tab under the Monitored interfaces label select the type of interfaces
you want to monitor. Here I'm just interested with wireless connections. Press the
Networks... button to display the next dialog.

This dialog should list the networks you've been connected to. Just check the ones
you want to monitor. Our Wi-Fi MAC address is 00:D0:41:C9:E2:78.
You can get this by looking for the gateway IP address with the ipconfig (/all if
you want) command and then searching for that IP address in the ARP table.
C:\Users\%USERNAME%>ipconfig

actions to be executed.

Usage reports
NetWorx allows the usage to be displayed in various manners using a tabbed dialog.
A tab for each daily, weekly and monthly usage or custom date range among others. On
some tabs there is a graphic that represent the usage and you can modify the way it is
displayed by clicking the button at the top-right corner of the graphic. You can display
histograms as one column for both UP and DOWN traffic or as two separated columns for
each. Also you can define the unit to be used in the settings under the Main tab where we
filtered the traffic to be registered.
The Export button is contextual and the generated file contain the same data as the
ones from the tab you were displaying while you pushed the button. It will ask for a file
name and in what format you want to export the report to, then you are asked what unit
should be used.
You can alternatively use the Backup button to generate an XML file but it will
contain all the traffic registered by the program.

Extra
Even though you are asked the language you want to install the software, you can
still change it afterward but the way to do is a bit unusual (not in the parameters dialog
neither in some directly selectable « Language » menu.
• Right click the system tray icon of NetWorx.
• By the bottom of the menu there is a NetWorx menu. Select it.
• Then Language and the sub-items are the different tongues in which you can display
the program.
