a. Identify animals as a herbivore, carnivore, or omnivore based on knowledge of what they eat.
b. Appreciate the value of feeding animals with the right kinds of food according to their classification.
c. Classify animals according to the food they eat.

4. Application

Class Activity 1
For us to remember today’s topic, join me in singing the song
entitled “What kind of animal are you”

(the teacher will disseminate a sheet of paper with a written (pupils will start singing once the music is played)

Group Activity 1

1. Divide the class into 2 groups, with 5 members each


2. Each group will receive a big book to be answered
one at a time by each member
3. Both groups will fall in line, 3 meters away from the
big book posted on the wall
4. On the teacher’s go signal the 1st member of the
group will approach the board and start matching
the column A with column B
5. Once the 1st member of the group is done, he/she
will tap the right shoulder of the 2nd member, ONLY
THEN the 2nd member can start matching the
column A with column B
6. Once the 5th member of the group is done. They will
do a YES CLAP as a sign that they have finished
the activity.
7. The first group to elicit a “YES CLAP” shall be
declared the WINNER    (pupils will group into two, fall in line and start
accomplishing the group activity once there is a go
signal)
