LEARNING OBJECTIVES By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to :
i) Identify 5 flags and the countries correctly.
ii) Say the name of the countries correctly.

*ACTIVITIES : i. Teacher shows the national flag of Malaysia and pupils name it.
i. PRE-LESSON ii. Pupils sing the song with correct pronunciation.
iii. Teacher shows flag of other countries and asks them to guess.
iv. Teacher introduces the flag.
ii. LESSON DEVELOPMENT i. Teacher plays the song and pupils listen to the song.
ii. While listening pupils refer to the textbook
iii. Pupils identify the name and the countries of the children mentioned in
the lyrics.
iv. Question and answer session.
Eg: Where is Aina from?
Can you show me the flag of Malaysia?
(Teacher repeats the questions)
v. Teacher gives instructions to the pupils to match the children to their
country.
vi. Teacher provides each group with the sets of pictures.
vii. Pupils paste the pictures of the children to the flag on mahjong paper.
iii. POST-LESSON i) Teacher pastes the flags around the classroom.
ii) Pupils pick up the cards written the name of the children from the
box.
iii) Pupils have to listen to the name mentioned by the teacher and go to the
countries.
Eg : Aina, where are you from?
iv) Pupils with the cards with Aina’s name will run to the correct flag.
v) The activity repeated.
