1. What is internet?
Thr internet is a huge collection of computers connected in a
communications network. It is a network of networks, it is one of the
public network and wide area network, which interconnects the
computers to the entire world for purpose of communication.
2. What is TCP/IP?
Transmission Control Protocol/ Internet Protocol(TCP/IP) is the low-
level protocol used to communicate with any devices in a network.
TCP/IP is the standard for Computer Network Connections, and it can
be used directly to allow a program on one computer to communicate
with a program on another computer via the Internet. Higher level
protocol runs on top of TCP/IP.

10. Define IP Address
In an Internet each node(machine) is identified by a numerical
address called IP address. It is unique 32 bit number. IP address is
usually written as four 8-bit numbers, separated by periods(.)
For example: 192.155.0.125

Web browsers are the programs that are running on client machines,
which requests the information/resource from the servers(web
servers).
Examples: Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Crome, Netscape
Navigator, Hotjava, Opera, Mosaic etc.,
14. Define Web Server and give examples
Web Servers are the programs that provide services/documents to
clients(requesting Browser).
Examples: IIS, Apache, Glass Fish, Tomcat etc.,
