Narrative 20

Our fucos for this activity was to found out the new approach used by the
teacher in his/her discussion. I found out only two approaches which are the
project-based learning (PBL) and reality Pedagogy.

Reflection 20

The teacher used these two new approaches of teaching: The pedagogx project
based learning (PBL) and reality pedagogy I like the two approaches used by the
teacher because it can really help on every student to develope their knowledge,
and provide them an opportunity to be creative enough. tjidzx This approach does
not focus on the students but also on the teachers. in order for a teacher to find
out the students needs and interest on reality and using this information as the
starting point oh hids/her discussion or as a central part of the discussion.
Narrative 21
Didx Identifying the concept of paradigm shift is our lessonzz focus for this
activity. I get difficulty in analyzing the content of the curriculuDX textbook
whether it usx ax it is a theory or a practice because the book I've chose to
analyze was an old one but still I can make it.

Reflection 21

Anaklyzing the style of textbook is quite difficult. But if we really eager to


analyze it, can we make it. From the book, I've notice that some content written
there were not always use now in our generation, in the field of teaching. Buit
still, the content of the textbookx book is also useful in our studies. Because. even
if it is an old one we can also gain ideas.
Narrative 22

From the book we observed the ways on concept of model presented on paradigm shift. Then, we cut
out one picture that representes a paradigm shift. Later on, we made our own model to show how
paradigm shift worked. I was able to make my own model easily because the model I've cut out from the
book was easy to devise.

Reflection 22

As a student, trying to make our own model of paradigm shift is not too difficult as well. Because,
even if I'm not an intelligent one, I was able to make my own model without the help of others.
Narrative 23
Our focus for this observation is about the best method used by the teachers in his/her discussion.
In Englishx Math class, the students were very jolly. They participated in whatever activities made by the
teacher. Then, also the Maxth English subject and science. There was always an interaction between
learners and teachers.

Reflection 23
I was amazed to the performance of the teacher because she can really motivate all her students.
Her activities and discussion were very effective. As a future teacher, I will use these strategies for my
teaching in order to have a good teaching.
Narrative 24
We made our individual lesson plan to be presented in the school were we assigned. I get difficult in
making a lesson plan because it was different from what we made with ma'am Vale.

Reflection 24
Making a lesson plan is not easy because you need to think deeply an appropriate activities that is
congruent to your subject matter. But since from now on I'm just only a student. I get difficulty in
making a lesson plan but maybe someday if I become a teacher making a lesson plan is just only my
habit as whayt I think aand that's also my observation of all the teachers I've observed.

It is our first activity of the field study. Our instructor of this FS told us to bring any kind of books to
identitfy if the book wasxx is still updated/latest of this new curriculum of education. As what I've
observed, there are different books coming from my classmate which are lastexx latest books and
composed of different subjects areas. The activity were not too difficult on my part because this activity
idxx guided by our FS instructor25

This first activity showcase us that books are still useful eventhough it is out of date or it is not latest.
We as a future teacher has a big responsibility to reflect/ to show the importance of books with regards
to it'xx its quality and content.

This second activity was done in the field. We assigned of this activity to visit a classroom in which out
mission is to list down the different task of the teacher done during his/her class discussion. I've able to
observe one teacher who were teaching Science in Grade 8, I'd write everything on my notebook the
different observation that I've observed.

Reflection 26
This second activity give me the chance to take a look of the different teaching strategies given by the
teacher to her students Through this, we can apply the best part of teaching strategies the way teacher
discussed, maybe sooner when I become hopefully a teacher I have an additional idea of teaching. But
of course, there should be a pleasant classroom managanmxxent management that chairs are well
arranged and teacher should try to discipline those student who werxcx are screaming.

On our third activity, we observed that the teacher was able to apply the discovery approach in
teaching in which the teacher conducted additional knowledge and after the discussion the teacher
ended it with a short quize.

Reflection 27
On becoming a future teacher in the future it is our responsibility at present to find out the different
teaching strategies and techniques for us to learn more the way of teaching what the teacher conducted
during class. As an observer it is our right to observe the good and the bad side of the teacher the way
he/she teaches for us to realize the right way of teaching through respect and honesty.

For this activity, we were able to make a lesson plan to be demonstrated at the field. I demonstrated the
subject Math where it is my major course. I cannot hide the feelings that I felt nervous a little because it
was my first time to demonstrate at the field and I'm not familiar with the students of Balocawehay
National High School (ANHS) but I grab this opportunity as my experience.

As a teacher in the future, we must have the confident to talk in front to our students no matter what
happen for it is the most important ability that the teacher should have and through this you have the
strength to faced not only the learners but all persons around us.

During the day of my observation at ANHS Grade 10 class, I felt comfortable to observe because the
teacher was not boring. She's always smiling most of the time during class session thats why students
anticipated actively joined the class in participation. I saw that she's a good teacher and process were
presentend thats why theRe is an interaction between the teachers from learners.'s a

Teachers is not only a facilitator of knowledge but a second mother to the learners, teacher must show
respect to the chiLD so that the child will also respect the teacher too.
