SOP on UAN Activation and KYC Uploading

1. UAN Activation

The member can go to the following link to activate UAN:

https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/

Once he clicks on the said link, the following screen appears:

He can click on ‘Activate UAN’ appearing on the bottom of the screen.

The following screen appears on clicking


The member can fill in the UAN in the space provided. He is also required to fill in Name, Date of Birth,
Mobile No., E-mail id and generate ‘Authorization Pin’.

Once the Pin is received on the mobile, the same has to be entered online for UAN Activation. Once
entered, UAN is activated.

2. Login to UAN Portal and Verifying the Profile

Login to the UAN Services Portal by entering UAN Number and Password, which is received on the
mobile number while activating the UAN.

Once logged in member can go to  View Profile and the following screen would appear
Member should check all the details available in profile and for any issues for correction at employer
end, he can send a mail to rr.pfhelpdesk@zmail.ril.com

Only the blank details appearing on screen can be changed by the employer. For any mistake in the
details already appearing on the screen, would require the employee to fill in ‘Joint Declaration Form’

Ideally the member should check the following:

1. Name appearing on the screen should be compared with AADHAR name. In case of mismatch,
he should fill in Joint Declaration form
2. Date of Birth appearing on the screen should be compared with AADHAR DOB. In case of
mismatch, he should fill in the Joint Declaration form
3. Father Name/ Husband Name appearing on the screen should be compared with AADHAR
Father Name. In case of mismatch, he should fill in Joint Declaration form
3. Uploading for KYC for UAN

Login to the UAN Services Portal by entering UAN Number and Password, which is received on the
mobile number while activating the UAN.

Once logged in he can go to  Manage  KYC

The following screen appears once clicked on KYC

The member has to select AADHAR & Bank (Mandatory KYC) and enter the details
Once the details are entered, he has to save the details. The site will
compare the AADHAR details with UIDAI Site and in case of mismatch,
it show the errors. Screen would be as follows:
It may please be noted that the screen gives details of errors i.e.
Name, DOB or Gender Mismatch with AADHAR data.

Based on the Profile details member found any mismatch in details


can go for online modification in his basic details as per attached SOP.
Uploaded KYC can be seen under the head Pending KYC in Manage 
KYC Page. Screenshot as follows:
It can be seen that the KYC has been approved by the employer.
Once the KYC is approved by the employer, the ex-employee can
apply for withdrawal of PF, EPS. The application can be made through
 Online Services Claim (Form 31- 19 & 10C). The following auto
application can be seen:
Once clicking on the radio button ‘Proceed for Online Claim’, the
following screen appears:

Once the member clicks on PF & Pension Withdrawal (Form 19 & 10C)
the following would appear
The member would have to click on ‘Yes’. Once done the following
screen appears:

The member has to fill in the address and enter all the details. He also
has to click on the certification given at the below of the screen. On
clicking the certification, the system prompts for AADHAR OTP. The
following screen appears, wherein the ADDHAR OTP has to be
entered.
Once the OTP is entered, a confirmation towards submission of online
claims for PF, EPS appears. The screen appears as follows:
If a member wants, he can print the PDF of claim form generated
online for his records:
