THE VALUE OF SOCIAL INTERACTION IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF GOOD WORK

ETHICS AMONG YOUNG PEOPLE

PURPOSE OF THE STUDY

The main purpose of this qualitative research is to educate the young people, the
importance of socializing with others to exercise his/her own good work ethics. By
conducting this research, we can assist others to build strong bonds with other people
caused by the development of good ethics. According to the internet, “it is important to
practice ethical behavior in your speeches, as it helps to establish trust with your
audience”, hence why we made this study to examine the youngsters’ perception and
attitude towards social interaction among others using good ethics.

By socializing with other fellow youth, people gather Intel that may or may not
prove useful- Insights that everyone may use to apply in our daily lives. It is interesting
to note then that humans have a varying level in experience that the young people of
Holy Child College of Davao does not possess. By conducting this study the young
youth would be more aware of the consequences that one may do to other fellow
students. Furthermore, studies show that the lack of social interaction may lead to
mental illnesses such as Depression and Anxiety.

In addition to this, there is a major population in the society that are called
introverts or simply people that are not too fond of socialization. This type of
characteristic impedes youth from effectively socializing simply because they are
introverts. Other cases shows that there are people who completely lack human
socialization due to the lack of self yearning of going outside- people who enjoy the
shelter of their comfort zones and would very much prefer to stay there as long as they
have the comfort of food and/or internet.

Most introverts are anti-social which gives all the more reason to conduct this
study-to be a starter guide that may help them value the importance of socialization. To
help them more how to express problems and cease having troubles showing them to
the peers. This study also helps youth to leave their comfort zones and explore other
things that they haven’t tried before.

The Researchers chose the students and campus of Holy Child College of
Davao-Mintal campus as a location where the surveys and research will be held. This
research will answer the problem about the social interaction in the development of
good work ethics among young people.
