By default, Oracle will pick competencies from ‘Job Description’, if more competencies need to be
entered then you need to click button ‘Add Competencies’.
Choose ‘Competency Type’ and click ‘Go’, it will show all the competencies available for the
‘Competency Type’, click select and then click ‘Apply’ to add that competency at competency
assessment.
New competency has been added to assessment template, now employee will rate him/her on each
competency and also indicate if he/she thinks that further development required (check the check box),
and add the development course if further development required in that particular area.
Type in then initial name words of the secondary appraiser, oracle will show all available persons
starting from this name initial. Select the person by clicking on the full name. OR you can click on the
magnifying glass to search the secondary appraiser.
Write the name’s initial and click go to search all available employees. Click ‘quick select’ to add the
employee as second appraiser.
Secondary appraiser details come on to the Secondary Appraiser section, Click ‘Next’ to move towards
next step.
This page shows the full review of assessment before submitting it to the Main Appraiser. Review and
click ‘Back’ if there is an update in the data. Or Click ‘Share with Main Appraiser’ to share the appraisal
details with main appraiser.
Main Appraiser (Requesting for Secondary Appraiser Rating):
Login with Main Appraiser user name
Manager will get a notification with the subject ‘The appraisal of (Employee Name) needs your attention
as main appraiser’. Once he/she receives a notification he/she will do the following steps.
Oracle will give a confirmation message that appraisal has been notified to the Secondary appraiser.
Navigation: Worklist
A notification will be received by the secondary appraiser to give rating to appraisee. Click on the
notification to take further action.
One page view will be opened when you click the notification along with comments of appraiser. Click
‘Update Action’ to proceed to next step.
Click ‘Update’ button to give rating for each competency.
Rate each of the competency and click ‘Complete’ button to provide the feedback as secondary
appraiser.
On clicking submit button appraisal feedback will be successfully sent to the main appraiser. Now login
as main appraiser to give the final rating on the basis of feedback provided by Secondary Appraiser.
Navigation: Worklist.
Main appraiser gets a notification when secondary appraiser completes the evaluation.
Click on Appraisals
Click on appraise pencil to view the secondary participant rating and to give employee final rating.
Secondary Appraiser status has been completed as he/she has provided feedback for employee. To
review the feedback of secondary appraiser click on ‘Comments’.
Click back button to update the appraisal, so main appraiser can give his/her ratings to employee.
Click ‘Update Appraisal’ to give rating.
Now login with employee to provide the rating feedback to finally move the appraisal to completed
section.
Navigation: worklist
Click on the notification with subject ‘Your appraisal has been completed. Please review and provide
feedback’.
Click on update action hyperlink
Click ‘Provide Overall Feedback’ to give feedback on rating.
Based on the search criteria system will search all the relevant employees. Select the desired employees
and Click ‘Add’ button to enroll employees in class.
Click ‘Apply’ to successfully enrol learners in class.
A confirmation note will be given to the employee on successful submission of learning request.
How manager will approve the learning request of his/her subordinate.
Click on the received notification with subject ‘Class enrollment ‘Name of employee’ has been approved.
