CHAPTER I

INTRODUCTION

A. Business Concept and Business Model

The business concept is to make a snack churros with innovative flavor,


ingredients and sauce and sell it to our main customer which are students of CTNHS. The
idea is to improve the taste and add more flavors from an ordinary churros to a tastier and
more flavorful snack. A special drink will add more interest to the product so a drink
could be included when buying the churros.

As shown in the figure above, in making Chew-rros, the entrepreneurs share their
knowledge and insights and did a brainstorming to come up to their business. The
stakeholders also share an equal portion in terms of the capital. The tools and equipments
are also provided by the suppliers and all major providers of Chew-rros.

Combining the three and adding the seven pillars of strategic planning which are
Strategy & Leadership, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Team, Technology and Financial &
Legal, Chew-rros are made. By also setting such goals and objectives the entrepreneurs
finally execute their own facilitating goods and services for their costumers and they,
themselves grow in many ways.

B. Business Goal

Chew-rros aim to provide unique and high quality dairy product to local
consumers where;

Entrepreneurs satisfy the cravings of their beloved costumers.

Customers can assure that the product is delicious, tasty and worth buying.

Owners and stakeholders shares equal responsibility and support to make an


extremely good product.

Vision

We dream that Chew-rros become admired by the society and can inspire other
entrepreneurs to never give up and to continue improving their products until they
reach their goals.

We are Entrepreneurs who continuously innovate our products to make sure that
we grant and fulfill the customers’ wishes and demand.

And so, Chew-rros can leave its own trademark not only in the country but also in
the whole world.

C. Product Offering and Justification

We, entrepreneurs, creates an innovative food called chew-rros that will


offer the costumers a remarkable and high quality dairy product and that could
also make the costumers return over and over again with satisfied smile in their
faces.

The entrepreneurs would provide a good service and freshly prepared food
and drinks all the times during business operations to ensure high quality of the
product.

To manage the business properly, everyone that is involve in the


process think mindfully to accomplish the goal and objectives of the business. Every
members have different roles to do as follows:

 Heinrich del Rosario as the owner and major investor will lead the whole team
and is responsible for the decision making also in charge for all the business
transactions.
 Mylene Castaneda and Jusmine Kate Espiritu will be the co owner who will share
obligations and responsibility with the owner. They will help in regard of raising
funds and in increasing the sales of the product.
 Miko Quitan
 Dave Arceo will serves as administrative Manager responsible for day-to-day
operations of administrative department and staff members and also the one
who's accountable for planning, scheduling and promoting office event including
meetings, conferences, interviews, orientations and training sessions.

 John Paul Castaneda will work as the operation manager and will lead the
company's operational activities. It manages company's initiatives and operations
and then report to the CEO. Also known as Chief Operation Officer.
 Ivan Sioko will be the financial manager and will suggest recommendations for
possible cash resources to support the financial needs of the business. He also
responsible to seek investments to raise the capital in starting up the business.
