ADVERTISEMENT FOR FACULTY POSITIONS ON CONTRACT

PDPM Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Jabalpur, an Institute of national
importance, established by an act of Parliament under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of
India invites online applications from well qualified and strongly motivated candidates for faculty positions at the
level of Assistant Professor (Grade II)(on contract in Pay Level 10 and 11) in the disciplines of Computer
Science and Engineering(CSE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE),Mechanical Engineering(ME),
Design, Natural Sciences(English).

2 Instructions to the applicants :-

a. Separate application must be filled up if a candidate is applying for a faculty position in more than one discipline or
for more than one post.

b. Full and comprehensive details of teaching experience/research experience /industrial experience should be
given while applying with the evidences from the competent authority. Only relevant document issued by
competent authority should be uploaded while filling up the online form.

c. Persons employed in Government/Semi- Government Organization or Educational Institution must apply through
proper channel. However, a copy of duly filled application may be sent as an “Advance Copy” so as to reach this
office before the due date of submission.

d. No correspondence will be entertained from candidates regarding postal delays, conduct & result of interview,
reasons for not being called for interview.
e. The Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill any or all the posts advertised.

f. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.

g. In complete hard copy of online application form without relevant supporting enclosures/without attested copies of
certificates will be out rightly rejected. Institute will not be responsible for any postal delay. Interim
correspondence will not be entertained.

h. Envelope containing hard copy of application form should be super-scribed with “APPLICATION FOR THE POST
OF ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (GRADE-II) (ON CONTRACT) Pay Level 10/11 IN THE DISCIPLINE OF
CSE/ME/ECE/DESIGN/NATURAL SCIENCES(English)”.

i. Candidates called for interview will be reimbursed AC-3 train fare (only for travel within India) by the shortest
route/bus fare as per Govt. of India norms. Candidates from overseas are also encouraged to apply. The Institute
holds web interviews for such candidates. No correspondence will be entertained from candidates regarding postal
delays conduct and result of interviews and reasons for not being called for interview.

j. Applicants are requested to look at website of PDPM-IIITDMJ(www.iiitdmj.ac.in) from time to time for
information, updates etc. Updations, if any will be published on the website only and not in newspaper.

3. Note:-

(a) The posts are on purely contract basis for a fixed period of time. After completion of the said period,
contract will cease and employee will be relieved of his duties. Institute in no condition will be bound to
continue employing the employee beyond the contract period. ‘

(b) Candidature of the applicant shall be subject to verification of testimonials at any subsequent stage.

(c) Candidates may ensure that they fill in correct information; candidates who furnish false information are liable
to be disqualified at any stage of recruitment.

(d) Persons serving in Govt./Semi-Govt./PSUs etc should send hard copy of their downloaded online applications
either THROUGH PROPER CHANNEL or should furnish a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE at the time of
selection/interview etc. They can, however, send an advance copy.

(e) Besides pay, the posts carries allowances according to the Institute rules which at present are at par with the
Central Government employees stationed at Jabalpur(MP).

(f) The Institute reserves the right to place a reasonable limit on the total number of candidates to be called for
selection/interview etc. Fulfillment of essential qualifications perse does not entitle a candidate to be called for
selection/interview etc.

(g) The Institute reserves the right not to fill up the post, cancel the advertisement without assigning any reasons
and its decision in this regard shall be final.

(h) Applications form (a) incomplete in any respect or (b) any fresh enclosures received after the last date shall
not be considered.

(i) In case of any dispute, any suit or legal proceeding by or against the Institute, courts within whose local
jurisdiction the Institute is situated shall have the jurisdiction.
(j) Non-refundable online application fee of Rs 500/- is to be paid through the portal.SC/ST, Physically
Handicapped, Women and PDPM-IIITDMJ employees are not required to submit the application fee. The
applicant is required to take a print out of the fee acknowledgement receipt and enclose it with the hard
copy of application after self attestation.

(k) Last date for making online application is upto 09/09/2019 till 11:59pm. Applicants shall fill their
online application form and pay online application fee within the stipulated time. After filling of online
application form the applicant is required to take a print out of application form and enlcose all the
testimonials and self attest it. The completed hard copy of the downloaded online application form must be
sent to the address “Asst. Registrar(Estt.), PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur, Dumna Airport Road, PO: Khamaria,
Jabalpur–482005(MP),India”. Applicants must superscribe on the envelope “APPLICATION FOR THE
POST OF ……………………..”.

NOTE:
Advertisement No 06/2017 dated 20/06/2017 for the post of Assistant Professor(on contract) (AGP
of Rs. 7000/- and 6000/-) stands cancelled. Those who have applied against this advertisement need
to apply afresh.
