• Trick-or-Suite 2019 - $807 donated + 773 lbs. of food

– Sportsfield Specialties was used by 23 MLB teams in
2019 including the SF Giants, Oakland A’s, and our
parent club, the Arizona Diamondbacks
• 2019 saw our 4 millionth fan walk through the gates of
Greater Nevada Field
• Continuing the weekend fun at Greater Nevada Field:
• Fireworks Friday
• Super Saturday featuring theme nights and
giveaways every Saturday starting in May including:
• Margaritaville Night, Harry Potter, Star Wars,
90s Night, Military Appreciation

• Aces Promotions for 2020 include:
– Will introduce an alternate “city edition” logo next

– Eight Aces made their MLB debut with the D-backs
in 2019 (Clarke, Ginkel, Leyba, Cron, Payamps, Rojas,
Duplantier, and Alex Young)
– Kevin Cron won the Joe Bauman award, Minor
League Baseball’s Top Home Run Hitter (39) – past
winners include MLB All-Stars Pete Alonso, Joey
Gallo, Kris Bryant, and Ryan Howard
– Set a franchise record with 242 home runs in 2019,
previous high was 178. Expect to see top three HR
hitters return in Kevin Cron, Yasmany Tomas, and
Wyatt Mathisen 4

• Repeating success

contract, Reno has progressed 6 players

SPECIAL EVENTS
• Continue to seek any and all opportunities to maximize usage year
round of Greater Nevada field.
• Over 100 non-sports events
– 2nd MMA Event
– 3rd Annual Buddy walk in conjunction with the Down Syndrome
Network of Northern Nevada
– Expanded Winterfest with a larger Santa’s Village and kids play
area
• Slaughterhouse Haunted House continued with strong engagement.
– Attendance in 2019, just over 12,000 in 15 dates
– Sunday was family day, Laughterhouse – family friendly
characters and train ride
• 8 average monthly site visits for future events
• Concert/Special Event Update –
– Had 4 shows upstairs at Greater Nevada Field.
– Had 3 more potential shows for the field this year that did not
happen for different types of reasons, (routing, numbers not
penciling out, etc..).
– Have established a relationships with Caesars Entertainment
and are working diligently to book a concert this year.
Additionally, we have been approached by other agents and
buyers for potential 2020 shows including a 3 day music festival
in September.

PAYROLL
• When calculating payroll related to Greater Nevada
Field, we include those paid as contract labor, direct
employees by the Reno Aces, Reno 1868 FC, as well
as Freight House District restaurants, and Levy
Restaurants. Arizona Diamondbacks payroll is
unavailable though does account for an additional 30
employees (team and coaches) during the 5 month
baseball season every year.

DEBT/FINANCING ACTIVITY
• In May 2018, SK Baseball Holdings and Affiliates were involved in a general
refinancing of various Simon family holdings.
• As part of the refinancing, Herb Simon recharacterized $38 million in
company debt; creating a personal obligation outside the company
• Refinancing activity further reaffirms the Simon family commitment to the
Reno sports market and downtown Reno.
• The remaining $30 million of debt owed by SK Baseball Holdings is
structured to be repaid over 30 years from a combination of cash flow from
baseball, soccer and stadium operations as well as payments associated
with the City of Reno Restructuring Agreement of 2013.
• SK Baseball Holdings and Affiliates restructured the debt related to the
Ballpark Development, and currently has a $29.3 Million Note Payable to
Herb Simon.
• In 2019, SK Baseball Holdings paid $1,476,876 in interest expense and
$455,689 in principal payments.
• SK Baseball Holdings also maintains a $4.9 million line of credit for general
obligations which is guaranteed by Herb Simon.

• All debt is in good standing.

STATE OF Greater Nevada Field
• After eleven years, facility maintenance is continued major focus
• After 2020 season, new field surface will be installed – upgraded
grass technology, dual sport specific irrigation
• Aces preventative maintenance routines remain state of the
industry, providing longer life than average for most systems.
• 20 year capital maintenance plan being utilized to stay current with
all systems within the facility
• Old Freight House seismic study underway – concerns about
viability
• Stadium Authority will continue to provide funding for capital
maintenance – partially funded roof in 2019
• Restaurant space open – working to fill vacant first floor space
• As noted previously, ownership continues private investment to fulfill
Simon family mandate of being “first class in all we do.”
• 1868 FC on-site training facility completed
