internship Training and for making this training a possible one.

I. INTRODUCTION
On the Job Training (OJT) is Job Training that occurs in the work place. The new
employee learns the Job while doing the job and while earning his or her paycheck. On the Job
Training is also called hands on training. On the Job Training has many advantages, but it can
also have a few disadvantages if the OJT is not properly planned and executed.
OJT is a very important not only to teach students regarding their chosen career but also
to show students the reality about working. The students will be exposed to the actual work
related to the course that they are taking. It also allows those with no experienced to work and to
learn at the same time. On the Job Training helps the trainee to learn more about his chosen field
and practice what he has learned from the school.
The goal of the OJT program is to place participants in occupations that will enhance
their prospects for long-term employment and will ultimately permit them to become self-
sufficient. OJT involves the acquisition of specific skills and employment competencies, through
exposure in an actual work setting, to the processes, work tasks, tools and methods of a specific
job or group of jobs.
It is the responsibility of supervisors and managers to utilize available resources to train,
qualify, and develop their employees. On the job training (OJT) is one of the best training
methods because it is planned, organized, and conducted at the employee’s work site. OJT will
generally be the primary method used for broadening employee’s skills and increasing
productivity. It is particularly appropriate for developing sufficiency skills unique to an
employee’s job especially jobs that are relatively easy to learn and require locally- owned
equipment and facilities

II. PURPOSE OF PRACTICUM
To provide students with practical work experience. They emphasize the importance of
learnings by doing. They’re where students can transfer their knowledge to actual work. Your
background OJT is very important when applying for a job. Students should realize the
importance of OJT on their future career. Practicum also called internships or work placement
programs are designed to provide students with practical work experience.
To provide a continuing series of practical experiences geared to his on her level of
expertise, which will offer a chance to apply principles, skill, and techniques that have been
acquired. To help the student learn how to assume professional roles in a variety of practice
settings while becoming accustomed to a range of organizational structures, working
relationships, and job expectations. To help the student develop professional identification as a
speech- language pathologist and gain experience in fulfilling his or her role as a team member
working with other professionals in the diagnostics and rehabilitation process.
Aside from the high evaluation grade that you will receive from the employee, the employer
may absorbed or offer you a job after graduation. Your background OJT experience is very
important when applying job. If you still have no idea on what is meant to be a worker. The
company that you are currently applying in often makes a background check to successful
applicants.
III. PLACE OF WORK
I have started my On the Job Training last November 28, 2018 at the office of Philippine
Statistics Authority (PSA), New Site, San Miguel Jordan, Guimaras.

IV. DATE OF WORK
The On-The-Job Training was performed from Wednesday to Fridays. This training was
undertaken from November 28, 2018 to February 28, 2019 covering the required 250 hours
at the Philippines Statistics Authority (PSA). My date started from 8:00 am in the morning and
ended at 5:00 pm in the afternoon every day.
V. JOB ASSIGNED
My 31, days stayed at Philippine Statistics Authority is hardly possible to forget. As
much as my desire to learn and apply my self-confidence to carry out my tasks. As a matter of
fact, PSA treated me like actual employee thus they’re trust me with heavy responsibilities. I
were assigned to encode all the certificate of live birth, marriage certificate, and death certificate
of different municipalities, encoded the Bi-Weekly survey of price or cost of different stores.
VI. DESCRIPTION OF WORK WHILE ON TRAINING
Philippine Statistics Authority this is where I was assigned to conduct my On the Job
Training. I was provided with relevant skills in a variety encoding OJT. Encoding the Bi-
weekly survey price; dealing with paper works and filling; encoded the certificate of live
birth, death certificate, marriage certificate of different municipalities, tallied the total and
inventoried all office supply.
VII. PRINCIPLES, CONCEPTS, AND SKILLS FROM MAJOR FIELD USED
The training inside the company is a learning experienced each day. I learned to
appreciate the lessons studied in school. I was able to realize the importance of theories and
formula that was discussed inside the classroom, and also to understand that everything that was
taught inside the school can be tool that can be used in the future career.
As a trainee working at Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) I learned to become a hard
working person. Time to complete the output products is not important, but the quality. I also
learned to follow the instruction of the superiors and to accept opinion that they learned.
VIII. MAJOR LEARNING’S FROM YOUR PRACTICUM EXPERIENCED
The training I had in the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is learning many
experiences each day. Aside from those things, I also learned to be more sociable and to adjust
myself in the environment where I am working at and who I am working with.
In my more than a month stay here, I learned many things not only those things that are
related to my course but also the things that molded me into the person I am right now. As I was
a working as a trainee at Philippine Statistics Authority, I learned to become a hard working
person. The time to finish the task assigned to me is important, but it is also important that I
should do it correctly. I learned to appreciate even the simplest lessons studied in school. I was
able to realize the importance of theories and formulas that were discussed in the school. Also, to
understand that everything that was taught in the school can be a tool that can be used in my
future career, because during my On- Job-Training, the terms that I have learned from school
were used in the company where I was conducting my training, especially those terms related to
my course. As I was conducting my training there, I also learned to follow the instructions and to
accept or admit my failure.
After the training, I realized that on the job training is not just a requirement to be
completed but it is an opportunity to show what skills, knowledge, and talents that I have and
also an opportunity to experience the feeling of being a professional already.
IX. PERSONAL FEELING AND OBSERVATION
Through my observation during my stay in the company, some strengths that I may
consider is their numerous relationship inside the company, the good communication, and being
an open minded and willing to accept their mistakes. I can say that my personal experience here
in Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) provides everything and I came to realize the importance
of On the Job Training (OJT) to a student’s life.
ANALYSIS REPORT
INTRODUCTION
One method of enhancing and enriching the skills of students is by undertaking the On-
the-Job Training. Students who are taking up Bachelor of Science in Business Administration is
given the chance to undergo the so called On-the-Job Training to be able to apply the knowledge
they acquired from school to their respective chosen agencies. It is the beginning of the greatest
educational experience BSBA student would encounter. It is one way of developing their sense
of responsibility upon performing the given task by their supervisors and the rest of the office
staff. It is also the time for a BSBA student to develop the desirable traits of a future office
worker. Thus, a BSBA student has the opportunity to develop attitudes, skills and understanding
which is necessary. As BSBA students, the On-the-Job Training provides a background of
what is really going, certain office. On-the-Job Training provides the opportunity in
promoting worthy values and developing strong moral character among other people in the
community. It is one of the factors that are helpful to the students in enriching and
enhancing their knowledge learned at school. It is also one way of preparing the BSBA student
in the real world of works after schooling. The development of the student who undergoes
such training can be determined through the trainee’ stability to accomplish work by following
instructions and performing duties and responsibilities obediently and diligently.

PRACTICED IN THE WORKPLACE
PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED IN THE PLACE OF WORK
For me as a BSBA student, time management was really hard for me because our
was really far from the office. I was there to gain experience and the extra work is
an opportunity to learn more about the company. I’ve been there at the office
arriving early and staying late to make an impression but truly this issue can be
frustrating in the long run as I am not getting much of the experience. Interning
isn’t always deal. It’s important to look at your internship with prospective. This is
time when I was over helmed with work and don’t have adequate training
knowledge.
RECOMMENDATIONS
In this chapter, the student trainee contains the insight towards how the On
the Job Training because the organization has satisfactorily meet the supposed
training a trainee should undergone with. The training really helped me a lot in
developing my personality as well as boosts my self confidence

PSA.
