1.0 Overview

The Pag-IBIG Data Entry System is a standalone Desktop application facility


by LANDBANK that addresses the need of clients who do not have the
required Pag-IBIG eCollection File Format and provide clients other options
to remit their Pag-IBIG contributions/amortizations.

2.0 System Requirement

Below is a list of the minimum hardware and software requirements and the
software or third party software needed for the system to function.

3.0 Installation Procedure

1. Install the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0

2. Install Crystal Report Basic Runtime for Visual Studio 2008

3. Copy PAG-IBIG DES folder to drive C.

4. Move PAG-IBIG DES .exe , to desired location.

Annex A. Installation of Microsoft .NET Framework

1. From the pre-req folder, double click the dotnetfx installer file.

2. Click “Next” to install the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0

3. Tick the check box “I accept the terms of the License Agreement” then click
“Install” to proceed with the installation

4. Wait for a few minutes to finish the installation.

5. Click “Finish”.

Annex B. Installation of Crystal Report Runtime for Visual Studio


2008

1. Verify System Type. (Refer to Annex C)

2. Open pre-req folder.

a. For 32-bit, double-click “CRRedist2008_x86” to run Crystal Report.

b. For 64-bit , double-click “CRRedist2008_x64” to run Crystal Report.

3. Wait for a few minutes to finish the installation.

4. To verify if Crystal Report installation is successful, go to Start>Control Panel>Add


Remove Programs.

5. Crystal Reports Basic Runtime for Visual Studio 2008 appears under currently
installed programs.

Annex C. Verify system type (32-bit or 64-bit)

Windows Vista or Windows 7

If you have Windows Vista or Windows 7, there are two methods to determine whether you
are running a 32-bit or a 64-bit version. If one does not work, try the other.

Method 1: View System window in Control Panel

1. Click Start , type system in the Start Search box , and


then click system in the Programs list.

2. The operating system is displayed as follows:

o For a 64-bit version operating system: 64-bit Operating System appears for
the System type under System.

o For a 32-bit version operating system: 32-bit Operating System appears for
the System type under System.

Method 2: View System Information window

1. Click Start , type system in the Start Search box , and


then click System Information in the Programs list.

2. When System Summary is selected in the navigation pane, the operating system is
displayed as follows:

o For a 64-bit version operating system: x64-based PC appears for the System
type under Item.

o For a 32-bit version operating system: x86-based PC appears for the System
type under Item.

Windows XP

If you have Windows XP, there are two methods to determine whether you are running a
32-bit or a 64-bit version. If one does not work, try the other.

Method 1: View System Properties in Control Panel

1. Click Start , and then click Run .


2. Type sysdm.cpl, and then click OK.

3. Click the General tab. The operating system is displayed as follows:


o For a 64-bit version operating system: Windows XP Professional x64
Edition Version < Year> appears under System.

o For a 32-bit version operating system: Windows XP Professional Version


<Year> appears under System.

Note <Year> is a placeholder for a year.

Method 2: View System Information window

1. Click Start , and then click Run .


2. Type winmsd.exe, and then click OK.

3. When System Summary is selected in the navigation pane, locate Processor under
Item in the details pane. Note the value.
o If the value that corresponds to Processor starts with x86, the computer is
running a 32-bit version of Windows.

o If the value that corresponds to Processor starts with ia64 or AMD64, the
computer is running a 64-bit version of Windows.

Windows Server 2003

If you have Windows Server 2003, there are two methods to determine whether you are
running a 32-bit or a 64-bit version. If one does not work, try the other.

Method 1: View System Properties in Control Panel

1. Click Start , and then click Run .


2. Type sysdm.cpl, and then click OK.

3. Click the General tab. The operating system is displayed as follows:


o For a 64-bit version operating system: Windows Server 2003 Enterprise
x64 Edition appears under System.

o For a 32-bit version operating system: Windows Server 2003 Enterprise


Edition appears under System.

Method 2: View System Information window

1. Click Start , and then click Run .


2. Type winmsd.exe, and then click OK.
