with approximately 45 students per section
Developed new class activities and utilized community and campus experiences to
enhance and utilize active learning in the classroom
Obtained several new community experts as class speakers to enhance student
learning of subject matter

Additional Professional Experience:
Provided skilled occupational therapy services in the home health setting to educate
patients in functioning more safely, easily, and independently in their own homes
Developed educational in-services for different departments and disciplines to
enhance the quality and cohesiveness of patient services
Developed effective patient handouts to increase patient understanding, knowledge,
and follow through with treatment objectives
Provided skilled occupational therapy services in the home health setting to educate
patients in functioning more safely, easily, and independently in their own homes
Provided skilled occupational therapy services for children (ages 3 – 21) who
required these services to fully benefit from their education
Temporary position filling in for an occupational therapist’s maternity leave
