1. Is this course equivalent to a Master degree
postgraduate course?
A: It is not a master degree. However, the curriculum
offered is equivalent to the first year of a master degree.
2. What is the curriculum of the course?
A: The course consists of two modules, which will be
held in Portugal and Malaysia respectively.  avenue for students when looking for additional
Module 1: Portugal
Candidates will attend a series of lectures and seminars
which give emphasis to aesthetic dentistry. Besides that,
there will also be laboratory techniques, clinical
assessment with patients for each participants,
workshop hands on and other related topic (dental
photography, aesthetic periodontal procedures and
dental materials).
Direct and indirect restorations – composites, onlay,
inlay, crowns, veneers.
Candidates will be able to see and treat patients – from
treatment planning, execution of treatment, evaluation
of success and laboratory work evaluation.
Module 2 : Malaysia
Candidates will attend a series of seminars and hands
on practical, on more advanced direct restorations
techniques, bleaching, minimally invasive procedure
(infiltration, micro-abrasion, macro-abrasion), Verti-prep
concept (BOPT), Total adhesive teeth rehabilitation in
severe erosion: The Three-Step Technique etc.
There will also be online classes which will conduct short
lectures from Portugal on a professional online
classroom platform where students will be able to
discuss and put across any topics for discussion or any
questions.
The mentor programme introduces students to
aesthetic dentists who are council members of
Malaysian Association of Aesthetic Dentistry (MAAD),
Prof. Dr Seow Liang Lin, Dr Lim Tong Wah, Dr Nurul
Huda Hasan and Dr Beh Wee Ren. This will provide an
information regarding the training, seeking expert
opinions, advice and guidance regarding their cases or
patient management.
Study Club
Study club will be organised to aid students’ learning.
Study clubs are held as an interactive session whereby
students will prepare, discuss and present their cases to
the class.
Case Report Evaluation and Feedback  coordinators to further facilitate the process.
The draft of case reports will be submitted to the
mentors for feedback and evaluation.*
*Note: a detailed guide book will be given to registered
candidates.
3. What is the minimum requirement to apply?
A: Applicants must possess a degree in Dental Medicine
or an equivalent academic degree in the field of dental
sciences.
4. How do I apply?

5. Is there any application deadline?
A: 31st Dec 2019
6. What should I include with my application?
A: Two passport sized photos, CV, photocopy of the
basic degree certificate.
7. How do I submit my supporting documents?

8. How long does it take to receive a decision?
A: Normally, two weeks after closing date.
9. How do I pay for my tuition fees?
A: Via online banking, cheque or bank draft.

10. How much is course fee?
A: Total course fee is RM 40,000 (Malaysian dentists);
45,000 (Dentists from Overseas).
11. Can I pay in installments?
A: Yes you can. Please find the fee schedule as follow:
Installment plan:
For Malaysian dentists, RM 3500 upon
registration or by 15th Feb 2020 (first payment)
Thereafter RM 3500 x 10 monthly payments
RM 1500 on the 12th month
For overseas' dentists, RM 3750 upon
registration or by 15 Feb 2020 (first payment)
Thereafter RM 3750 x 11 monthly payments
If you wish to complete payment before stated
dates, please contact the programme
If participants pay up in full upfront, they will get a
RM 1000 discount.
12.Do you offer any financial aid?
A: Yes, we are collaborating with Bank Islam
which provide personal loan facilities with low
interest rates.
13. What does the course fee include?
