In the exigency of service, you are hereby designated as the Adopt-a-School (ASP)
Coordinator/Brigada Eskwela Coordinator of ________________________________, effective
immediately for SY 2020-2021.

Thus, you are hereby expected to perform your responsibilities as ASP/BE Coordinator until such
time this designation is revoke.

Responsibilities of District ASP/BE Coordinator

1. Attends meetings, special events, trainings and workshops called for by the SDO;
2. Establishes and maintains database of information of potential education partners within their
respective district/municipality.
3. Assists the School Head in the preparation of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and or
Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), especially if the education private partner would like to
avail of the Tax Incentives for donations per RA 8525, otherwise known as the Adopt-a-School
Act of 1998 and Revenue Regulations No. 10-2003;
4. Coordinates with the Division ASP/BE Coordinator regarding the review, approval, and
endorsement of the donor’s application for availment of tax incentives to the Revenue District
Office;
5. Submits all MOA/MOU, including Deed of Donation (DOD)/Deed of Acceptance (DOA), entered
into between the school and their partners to the SDO Social Mobilization & Networking Unit for
review by the SDO Legal Officer and approval of the Schools Division Superintendent;
6. Assist the School Head in facilitating and supervising the conduct of Brigada Eskwela activities;
7. Ensure the proper recording of donated properties by coordinating with the School Property
Custodian, teachers, class advisers, and school head.
8. Consolidates and submits online quarterly report on the generated resource through DepEd
Partnerships Database System (DPDS) on or before the 25th of the last month of every quarter;
and
9. Performs other related tasks and functions.
